Kyoto is surrounded by stunning trees — cherry blossoms in spring, vibrant greens in summer, and brilliant red and yellow leaves in autumn and winter.
As you stroll through Gion and along the Kamo River, collect your favorite fallen leaves and natural treasures to use in your artwork.

Each piece becomes a one-of-a-kind souvenir, crafted with your own creativity and inspired by the spirit of Kyoto.
This hands-on experience lets you not only enjoy the city’s seasonal beauty but also create a lasting memory you can take home.

Meeting point

The class will be held on the 1st floor of Hostel Inn Kyoto Gion. Please come inside the hostel — our instructor will meet you at the entrance. It’s about a 5-minute walk from Gion-Shijo Station and easy to find on the main street.

What to expect

This program begins in Gion, one of Kyoto’s most iconic districts, where you’ll start by collecting fallen leaves and other little treasures from nature.
In autumn, Kyoto is filled with colorful gems — beautiful red and golden leaves waiting to be found.
Once you’ve gathered your favorite leaves, return to the studio and carefully encase them in resin to create your own original art piece.

You’ll capture the charm of Kyoto itself in a cute, handmade resin artwork.
While your piece is drying, enjoy a moment of peace with matcha green tea and traditional Japanese sweets.
You can even prepare your own tea in a casual, hands-on style — a fun and authentic Kyoto experience.

Finally, take a commemorative photo with your finished creation to remember your special day in Kyoto.
