Understanding our roots and means of survival through time, is more than just an experience, it's living like a local, understanding the feeling of belonging in our beautiful island.
We will take you on a very unique experience, through time and evolution, passing along the legacy of one of the very firsts modern cities of the world, in the middle of the Atlantic.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We pick up from all hotels in Angra do Heroísmo. Tours that starts in the Airport, Cruise Ships and Hotels in Praia da Vitória have an additional tax.

We will visit the inside of the cathedral, to better understand its importance in the development of the city

We will visit the inside of the building, which is currently the property of the President of the Azores, so no photos can be taken. However, the visit is extremely interesting, with many paintings, decorations and such that help us understand the changes that the city underwent at that time.

We will visit the garden briefly, so we can rest for a few minutes while appreciating the co-existence of plants and flowers from all over the world in only 1 garden.

We will visit the inside of the town hall, specifically the main hall, where we will dive into the influence of the civil war in our island.
15 minutes • Admission ticket free -

We will pass by Igreja da Misericórdia, and continue to Vasco da Gama statue, where we will talk about his reasons to coming here.
