The oldest watermill of Tata town is situated at one of the nothern side of the Old lake, over the stream called "Által ér" It survived the turkish occupation and it was in 1753 rebuilt in baroque style. It was used normally for grinding until the end of the 1960s.

The camaldolese mutes. The most famous ecclesistical order. The order was established in 1009 and Jozsef Esterhazy gave hoem to the Camadolese people. The white robed, bald monks did not bother many people, as they took an oath of silence, and they only broke this once a year.
Belfry. Has two unique points, one this is where they once held the national assembly. The second, named Óratorony ( clock tower), wooden structure was made without iron nails. After giving home to the national assembly it became one of the city's symbols. The bells ringing every gour to remind the locals and visitors about passing of time.
