1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English

You are about to go on a relaxed-paced journey through 14-centuries of Dubrovnik's history. You will get to understand why the city was founded in this specific location, learn about the Golden Age of the Republic of Dubrovnik, what events led to the crisis and the fall of the Republic, to the turbulent events that marked the end of the 20th century and led to a brutal war for independence. Finally, you will hear a story about the break of Yugoslavia and the War in Dubrovnik in 1991.

The Old Town's most impressive landmarks and hidden details will also be covered.

You will get to know local culture and customs, understand why we locals are so immensely proud of our city and its history, and why the word "Libertas" is carved in the hearts of local people.

One ingredient is desirable throughout this tour – curiosity! So naturally, I will strive to meet your expectations, but I would like to encourage you to ask questions and make this tour interactive.
