First, visit Swaminarayan Akshardham epitomizes 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breathtaking grandeur, beauty, wisdom and bliss. It brilliantly showcases the essence of India’s ancient architecture, traditions and timeless spiritual messages. Akshardham temple where architects have achieved the zenith of carving to induce life in every piece of stone. This temple complex, Heralded by the Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Comprehensive Hindu Temple, the complex was inaugurated on 6 November 2005. The beautiful mandir built without steel consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 quadrangle shikars, a spectacular Gajendra Pith (plinth of stone elephants) and 20,000 murtis and statues of India’s great sadhus, devotees, acharyas and divine personalities. The mandir is a fusion of pink stone and pure white marble, where pink stone symbolizes bhakti in eternal bloom and white marble that of absolute purity and eternal peace.
Next visit Lotus Temple which is a Bahá'í House of Worship dedicated to the oneness of humanity and religion. It symbolizes the unity of mankind of all faiths. People from all religious backgrounds are welcome here. The temple is admired by its universal design in the form of the lotus flower and has been fascinated by the Teachings of the Bahá’í Faith, especially its tenets of the Oneness of God, the Oneness of Religions, and the Oneness of Mankind.
Next visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib which is a Sikh Temple located in the heart of the Capital City. It is one of the most important & Sacred Sikh Shrine visited by thousands of followers and tourists from all over the World. The temple can be recognisable by its golden dome & tall flagpole, The grounds include the Gurudwara, a kitchen, a large (holy) pond, a school, and an art gallery. As with all Sikh Gurudwara, the concept of Langer (Community Kitchen) is practised, and all people regardless of race or religion may eat in the Gurdwara kitchen (langar hall). The food is prepared by gursikhs who work there and also by volunteers who like to help out. At the Gurdwara, visitors are requested to cover their head and not to wear shoes. Anyone can volunteer in the Gurudwara.
After your tour you will be driven to Jaipur, The city of Jaipur was constructed on the lines of the Shilpa – Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh - II, the ruler of Amber, Jaipur was the first planned city in India. This town is also referred to as Pink city for the colour of buildings in its wonderful old city. The city was painted pink to honour the visit of Prince Albert of England in 1882. Reach Jaipur overnight in a nice hotel.
At 7:30 am, after breakfast, check out from the Hotel and proceed for Jaipur Sightseeing. Photo stop at Hawa Mahal the palace of breeze. The honeycomb-shaped and beautifully carved 953 windows allow the breeze to blow through the palace, making it a perfect summer palace. The construction of Hawa Mahal allows the royal ladies to enjoy everyday street scenes, festivities, or royal processions on the street without being seen, as the Purdah system at the time was strictly followed. Rajput royal ladies should not be seen by strangers or appear in any public area.
After Hawa Mahal, visit Jaipur Fort, one of the most magnificent Rajput-style fortresses situated atop a hill overlooking Maota Lake. Fort served as the main residence of the Rajput Rulers with its large ramparts, several gateways and paved paths used to serve as the capital of the erstwhile Jaipur princely state. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site palatial complex was built with red sandstone and marble and is divided into four main sections, which you will tour with your guide. You will find it hard to take your eyes off the ornate decorations consisting of paintings, carvings, and murals.
After Amber Fort, visit Jaipur City Palace, once the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, a palatial complex with impressive gardens and historical buildings, including the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. See the fusion of Rajput, Mughal & European architecture. Visit the museum in Chandra Mahal with your guide to see its rich collection of royal costumes and Rajput weapons. The City Palace has three gates, out of which the Virendra Pol and Udai Pol are open to the public.
After City Palace, visit Jantar Mantar which is an astronomical observatory used to measure the distances and positions of celestial objects. India has a total of five such observatories the largest of which is in Jaipur. The Jantar Mantar in Jaipur consists of 19 large instruments each serving a very specific purpose. The most significant among these is the Samrat Yantra which is the largest sundial in the country. the stone observatory attracted by the mathematician as well as astronomers of the whole world
Photo stop at Jal Mahal, known as "Water Palace" an architectural beauty seems as it is floating prettily right in the centre of the Man Sagar Lake of Jaipur. This low rise symmetrical Palace was once a shooting lodge for the Maharajas and now fascinates many visitors from all over the world. The most striking feature of this palace is that while only one storey that appears above the water level, there are 4 storeys submerged underneath. The entry inside is prohibited but it is still has become a true tourist delight.
In the evening after the tour, you will be Transfer to Delhi. Our driver will drop off you at Delhi International Airport/hotel or your desired location. Choose your flights accordingly. Your tour ends here with Sweet and Wonderful memories!!!
