Peking opera of China is a national treasure with a history of 300 years. In the 67th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, the four big Huiban opera Troupes entered the capital and combined with Kunqu opera, Yiyang opera, Hanju opera and Luantan in Beijing's thearetical circle of the time.

    After picking up from your Beijing's central located hotel lobby on 18:25pm in the late afternoon, then drive to theater next , Beijing Opera is the quintessence of China. The largest Chinese opera form, it is extolled as 'Oriental Opera'. Having a history of 160 years, it has created many 'firsts' in Chinese dramas: the abundance of repertoires, the number of artists, opera troupes and spectators. Peking opera is generally regarded as having fully formed by 1869. Although it is called Peking opera , its origins are in the southern Anhui and eastern Hubei, which share the same dialect of Xiajiang Mandarin. Peking opera's two main melodies, Xipi and Erhuang, derived from Han Opera after about 1795. The tune of Peking opera is extremely similar to that of Han opera, therefore Han opera is widely known as the Mother of Peking opera. Later on our driver will transfer client back to hotel.
