Today, we proceed towards Jaipur enroute you will visit Fatehpur Sikri. It was constructed by Emperor Akbar as part of his plans to build a grand capital for his empire, the World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri is 39 km away from Agra in Uttar Pradesh. Fatehpur Sikri served as the Mughal capital from 1571 to 1585. Spread across eight sq km, the city is about three miles long and one mile wide. Built with red Sikri sandstone, the city’s architecture is a blend of Islamic and Hindu styles. The sandstone throughout the city has exquisite ornamental carvings and interlaced decorative designs.
Next stop is Abhaneri, located at a distance of 95 km from Jaipur on Jaipur-Agra Road, is a village in the Dausa district of Rajasthan. The place is widely popular as it is home to a colossal stepwell, Chand Baori, which is considered among the most beautiful stepwells of India. The village of Abhaneri is believed to have been established by Samrat Mihir Bhoj who was a Gurjar Pratihar king.
Upon arrival in Jaipur, transfer to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Hawa Mahal is the magnificent architecture built from red and pink sandstone and is on the edge of the City Palace. It is also known as Palace of the Winds and Palace of the Breeze. I loved the colored glass-work because when the sunlight enters, the entire chamber lit beautifully which is an awe moment. I was lucky as I got to the fountain raising and soaring to a great height.
Jaipur's City Palace was originally home to the royal family. It is a beautiful mixture of Rajput, European, and Mughal architecture. The palace is built of red and pink sandstone with vast courtyards surrounded by smaller arches. Nowadays,this palace a portion have been converted into museum for tourist to explore the palace. You can use tour guide to explore as it will help you understand it better and save time as well.
Jantar Mantar is located in the modern city of New Delhi. “Jantar Mantar” it means “instruments for measuring the harmony of the heavens”. It consists of 13 architectural astronomy instruments
Jal Mahal is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. The palace was originally constructed in 1699; the building and the lake around it were later renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber.
Now we move towards Amer Fort. Nostalgic Amer Fort (Amber Fort), near Jaipur in Rajasthan, is one of India's most well-known and most-visited forts. After visiting Amber Fort, next you will see - Panna Meena ka Kund is a square-shaped stepwell, with adjoining stairs on all four sides and a room on the northern wall.
