Pottery square is a part of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, located at the south of Durbar Square. The place is locally known as "Bolachha Tole" but everyone knows it simply as Pottery square. Basically pottery is related to traditional things which are needed in our daily lives such as glasses, Jhar, offering light Lamp, piggy banks, vessels as well as a lot of decorative things. There are two ways to making a pottery: one is old technology which is based on manually and another is electric which is more easier and energy saving technology. Few steps of making a potteries that are:
1. Bring the best soil from the particular place
2. Mix water and soil in the right amount and make it flexible clay
3. Using the technology; whether it is manually or electric gives the design and shape out of muddy clay
4. Dried in the sun for a one day
5. Fire it
6. Color the pottery with the attractive design
7. And again dried for a day
8. Ready to sell the pottery
