We meet our groups at the Fish Fountain in Marienplatz. It is the only fountain in Marienplatz and it has a fish on it. Our tour guide will have a sign help you find them.

What to expect
Our tour departs at from the Fish Fountain in Marienplatz. There is only one fountain in Marienplatz and it has a fish on it (hence the name). This city walking tour is only offered in English. You will see your tour guide with a sign and our company shirt (The Tour Company Munich). We will regale you with some stories about Munich’s history throughout the city introduction (which generally lasts about 15 minutes).
Our tour will make cover all of the highlights of old town and the inner city, including the world famous Munich river surfing and sights along the Isar river as you watch the sun set. Your tour also takes you through a darker period of Munich’s most recent history, the Third Reich. The walking tour always ends in Platzl outside of the world-famous Hofbräuhaus.
