You will visit the Maiden Tower previous symbol of Baku city. It was built during 2 period before & after century.1st part of the tower was build 6th BC and used as a temple by fire worshipers. But the 2nd part of the monument was built in 12th-century by Shirvanshah 2nd Akhsitan. In 2001 beside with the Shirvanshahs' Palace, Maiden added to the the UNESCO World Heritage List of Historical Monuments
It was established in the 14th century and is located opposite to the Bukhara Caravanserai.The caravanserai was built to house merchants from the medieval city of Multan (now in Pakistan) who frequented the region for trade, and harnessed this caravanserai as a stop. They included Zoroastrians, who are also believed to have erected the Ateshgah Temple in Surakhani.
Bukhara Caravanserai was erected in the late 15th century over a trade route passing through the Shamakhi Gates of the fortress. It is close to the Maiden Tower. The caravanserai was harnessed as a hotel, basically catering to merchants of Central Asia
Next Destination in the Old City will be the Shirvanshahs’ Palace. Inside the complex you will visit the Main Building of the Palace, Palace Mosque, Divankhana, the Mausoleum of Seyid Yahya Bakuvi , Family Mausoleum,a Portal in the east, Murad's gate, a Reservoir and the remnants of a Bath House. In the 15th century the Shirvanshah dynasty, under Ibrahim I of Shirvan, transferred the capital from Shamakhi to Baku following a devastating earthquake. He committed himself to the construction of the "palace".The building is believed to be a memorial complex built around the sacred place of worship (pir) and tomb of Seyyid Yaxya Bakuvi who was a Helwati Sufi. The Shirvanshahs were patrons of the Helwati Sufiye order, and Shirvanshah Khalilullah I was buried with his family in the grounds of the palace, in Family Mausoleum
Then you will visit Fountain Square and the famous Nizami Street. Nizami Street is a wide pedestrian and shopping street in the city center. The street is named after the famous classical poet of Azerbaijan, Nizami Ganjavi.
You will proceed the program with Absheron Peninsula Tour. Guide will explain the mysterious history behind the Baku Boulevard and its connection to the Oil Barons alongside the Boulevard. The Fire Temple is located in the south-eastern part of the Surakhani settlement of the Absheron Peninsula, 30 km away from Baku.
Fire Mountain-this natural burning flame became as a result of the emergence of natural gas at the foot of the hill. A hill that burning approximately 4 millenniums nonstop even in times of raining and snowing.
The mausoleum was described in diaries of K. de Bryuin and A.Oleariy, and also in a work of B.Dorn. The mausoleum stands in a square located on a glyptic cliff. The building is two-storeyed. The first store has a hall covered with an ogive, which has a passageway to an octahedral cupola from a small vestibule. Stairs leading to the hall of the second store have been carved on the cliff. A spherical cupola with a pointed top has squinches decorated with plant ornaments.
The construction date of the mosque is dated from the governance period of Caliphate’s vicar in the Caucasus and Dagestan, Arabic commander Maslam ibn Abd-al Melik, brother of Umayyad caliph Valil I (705-715), by whom Shamakhi was chosen as the residence. In these years Arab governors, strengthening towers of this ancient city with the rich cultural heritage, began the construction of new structures in its territory. Arabs attached the great importance to Shamakhi, which is visible from the great architectural appearance of Juma Mosque.

On the way to Gobustan, you will see whole jungle of oil rigs, which provided the USSR with black gold for more than 70 years. First you will visit the Gobustan Museum to get the better insights to the history of the area.The Archeological monument is located in 56 km from the capital city, Baku. The artifacts and rock carvings were discovered in 1939 – 1940 years. As a result of the researchers, more than 3,500 human and animal paintings and various markings – petroglyphs were recorded and 20 suburban shelters have been identified in this place. Mesolithic monuments (medieval stone) are mostly exhibited in the reserve. There are many caves, springs, carved by primitive men on walls of caves, rocks, and stony lumps.
Later on the tour will continue to the Mud Volcanoes which is not far from Gobustan National Museum. Azerbaijan keeps the first place in the world for the number of mud volcanoes. About 300 mud volcanoes are to be found in Azerbaijan – at the shore, in the sea and on islands. During this trip you will get a great chance to see these amazing active volcanoes from very close distance.Spending 15 minutes around Volcanoes you will be transferred back to your car.
The Bibi-Heybat Mosque includes the tomb of Ukeyma Khanum (a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad), and today is the spiritual center for the Muslims of the region and one of the major monuments of Islamic architecture in Azerbaijan. It's locally known as "the mosque of Fatima" which Alexandre Dumas using the same name, described the mosque during his visit in the 1840s. The old mosque was located in the southern part of the tomb, while there was a 20 meter high minaret in the west part of the mosque. Later a crypt and two niches were added to the mosque to the south of the minaret. On the niches there were inscriptions containing the name Fatali Khan, whose tombstone marble slab is now in the State Museum of History.
