Lobuje/Lobuche 6119 m Peak is inside the Sagarmatha National Park. Lobuje is one of the famous trekking peak in Nepal Mountaineering Association, among the 33 peaks. The first recorded ascent of Lobuche/Lobuje East was made by Laurence Nielson and Sherpa Ang Gyalzen on April 25, 1984.

Lobuje peak climbing is a popular and attractive summit, which offers various routes for climbing. The normal route for climbing Lobuje is through South Ridge. Lobuje peak consists of several small summits, and the true Lobuje (Lobuche) summit requires climbing steep snow and ice slopes to the top of the summit ridge.

Asian Hiking Team itinerary follow Everest Base Camp trekking route up to Lobuje continues trek to Everest Base Camp and climb Kalapatter then trek to Lobuje Base camp/High Camp. The views of Mt. Choletse, Tawache Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Pumori, Khumbu Himal, Mt. Everest, Mt Nuptse, Mt Lhotse and others are seen superb from the summit of Labuje.

    Pashupatinath Temple

    Pashupatinath temple being the temple of Lord Shiva; it has two-storied golden roof and silver doors and is famous for superb architecture. Pashupatinath temple is situated 5 kilometres east of Kathmandu heart, on the banks of sacred Bagmati River. Pashupatinath is a center of annual pilgrimage. From time immemorial, the Pasupatinath area has contained numerous temples, stupas, monasteries, images and inscriptions. Pashupatinath area is not only a pilgrimage site for the Hindus, and it is also an important cultural treasury of the whole world. Only Hindus are permitted to enter from the main gate to Pashupatinath Temple.

    One of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal. Boudhanath is an imposing structure, standing some 36 meters. Buddha nath Stupa stands on the massive three level Mandala style platforms surrounded by colorful private family houses. The basic feature of Buddha Nath great Stupa is the same as Swayambhunath stupa, except it is a final display. It is much bigger than Swayambhunath Stupa and lies on the valley floor where its former stands on the hilltop. Boudhanath stupa is said to have been built in the 5th century AD.

    Three kilometers west of Thamel complex locates a world almost glorious Buddhist Stupa, Swayambhunath stupa is said to be 2000 years old. Visitors often call it "Monkey Temple". The main structure, brick and clay has supported a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. There are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha on the four sides of the spire. Being situated seventy meters above the level of the valley, the hill of Swayambhunath is a mosaic of small stupa and pagoda temples. Aside, in front of the Swayambhunath Temple, one of the famous goddesses with the shrine of Ajima called "Harati Mata" is there. The Harte Mata temple of goddess believes to be famous in the way of Tantric. Both, the Stupa of Lord Buddha and the temple of a goddess are surrounded by other temples and Tibetan monasteries. Being located in the top level of the valley, this place is famous for visitors for a sightseeing tour.

    Phakding

    After finishing breakfast, proceed from Lukla to Khumbu, head north, past a Chorten with praying wheels and join the main queue at Choplung (2696m) in less than one hour. The proceed from there head north crossing the Thado Khola (2554m) with the awesome trekking peak Kusum Khanguru (6483m) at its head. To reach Phakding (2640m), 1.30 hours from Choplung or almost 3.30 hours from Lukla, overnight in Hotel.

    Phakding – Namche Bazaar, 3440m.

    Namche Bazaar

    To cross the west bank (right) of the Dudh koshi river, continue through blue pine and rhododendron forests, pass a settlement if Metal worker (Tok Tok), village of Banker (2905m) with a small lodge, see the view of mt. Thamserku (6856m) 1 hr. In the short while cross to the east (left) bank and climb up through Chumowa, cross the Khansar Khola to reach Mondzo (2835m). Enter sagarmatha national park here. 1 hour from Banker. Descend in a cleft to the west (right) bank of Dudh Kosi on a suspension bridge to reach Jorsule (2774m) 30 minutes. This is the last village before Namche. We take Lunch here & proceed to cross Dudh Kosi (Bhote Kosi) again to the left side & again to cross the main Dudh Kosi, climb up till to Namche Bazaar (3440m), proceed in pine forest. Can see, first view of Mt. Everest between Lhotse & Nuptse reaches 2 and half hours from Jorsule.

    Namche Bazaar

    Today is a rest day, however, we should do some activities such as to climb Syangboche airport, visit Sherpa home in khumjung/Khunde or view from Everest view point Hotel 2 hours. Namche bazaar has many officials or offices, including army base camp and bank. Namche used to be a trading center, where grain from the south was exchanged for salt from Tibet, and it remains now a trading center. Every Saturday is market day. It is the headquarters of Sagarmatha National park & Sagarmatha pollution controlled project. Here is the Sherpa Museum & monasteries too.

    Tengboche – Dingboche 4410m.

    Dingboche

    Today, we start early, around 7 to 8 o’clock. Half an hour down to Debuche, where there is a monastery and small settlements inside the alpine forest. After a 45 minutes’ walk to cross the bridge, continue climbing to reach lower Pangboche. We are not planning to visit Pangboche village because we plan to go to Dingboche. If you are so interested we can short visit as well, you can talk with your guide. Have lunch in Somare and gradually walk up. There are two ways, one heading to Pheriche and the other is Dingboche. Right hand side direction is our way to Dingboche takes us 2 hour to our hotel. After our arrival, have a short drink with rest and climb 200 meters over the hill because every day we “ascent high and sleep in low”.

    First half an hour we climb to the ride of the hill and continues trek to Dukla may we have lunch and climb to Dukla/Dukla pass where many memorial monuments who died in Everest summit. It takes 5 hours to Lobuje

    Lobuje – Gorepshep 5160m– Everest base camp 5370m - Gorep-shep.

    Early in the morning leaving Lobuje, after lunch in Ghorab-sheep within 3 hours walk, we will head up to Everest Base camp (5365 meters), and return to Gorak-shep at elevation of 5180 meters at noon for our overnight stay. We walk over the moving stone with a jump, so it is hard to be careful to walk 5 hours.

    Everest Base Camp

    Upon arrival in Gorepshep, check the hotel, lunch and start journey to Everest Base camp 2-3 hours and returning to Gorepshep. There are no hotels in base camp so we return to hotel in Ghorepshep.

    After reaching Base camp of Everest our aim today is to Climb Kala Pattar (5545 meters). We start early morning before sunrise to reach the viewpoint that offers some of the best views of Mount Everest as well as other panoramas of the surrounding mountains. Kalapattar means “Black rock”, most excellent view point in the world. Returning to Hotel, after late breakfast descend to Lobuche, have lunch and check the climbing gear and get ready to go Lobuje peak.

    After breakfast, we push to high camp. Today is a short walk over the moving rock. We have not fixed the rope. Asian Hiking Team staff fix the camp, have lunch, then we walk for acclimatization and some training by a climbing guide. Save the energy for the next day, so we sleep early and start early the next day.

    The hardiest day in our trip - Very early may be 1 t0 2 AM wake-up call, take some hot soup and start climbing, Lobuje peak is a rock climb and also there are a few peaks, there is a mountain terrace. Summit the Lobuje Peak and return to High camp/Base Camp, overnight in Base Camp/High Camp, tented camp.

    Tengboche

    After hot camping breakfast, we start at 8am, the route going down to Lobuje. If you are planning to cross over the Chola pass you need to go Dzongla 2 hours then continues walk to Cho La pass. But our itinerary bring you Lobuje then continues walk to Dhukla. From Dhukla we follow the diffirent route Pheriche valley. Thos is very nice valley but wind come. It takes 1.30 hours to reach to Pheriche. From Pheriche we cross the river bank, climb little and continues down to Somare to pass the Pangboche, Deboche and we reach to Tenboche. If you are interest, to join the worship at 3PM, 6–7 hours trekking, overnight at hotel.

    The trek route going down to Phorse Tenga than we start climbing all the way to Khyangiuma/kenjome. After Khyangiuma to Namache bazaar is going very nice route. On the behind Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and many more mountains are watching. You have Lunch in Namche. If you want to buy souvenir also, you can. From Namche all the way speedy going down to Dukh Kosi river valley, we cross the Jorsule, Manju where you're trekking permit check and contiues to Tok Tok and Phakding. Overnight at hotel.

    Today is a very short day in our trek. It is the last day of our trekking, so you have enough time to explore in Lukla. We trek all the way to Lukla passing the same typical Sherpa village and some suspension bridges. Up to arrive check hotel, celebrate the final day in Mountain with Nepalese crews.
