One of the best ways to understand the soul and the way of life of the Brazilians is through their food. And there is no better way to understand Brazilian’s eating habits than by having a real feijoada. The world feijoada comes from the word “feijão” which is Portuguese for “beans”. It is a comfort food dish that many people prepare at home and it is one of the most typical dishes in the country. It consists of a black bean stew with hearty sausages and sundried beef, served with rice, collard greens, cassava (manioc) flour and orange slices. It is served throughout the country and there are many variations in each city. In this tour, we give you the opportunity to taste the Feijoada from Rio de Janeiro. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off and the feijoada (drinks and desserts not included).

Meeting and pickup
Pickup is available from most hotels in the areas of Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Flamengo and Downtown (Centro). Contact us back to adjust the pickup time. For Barra da Tijuca/ Recreio we provide pick-up for an additional rate per person.
If you do not provide us the pickup location at the time of booking and you do not inform us about it later, we will assume you will meet us at the Meeting Point at the Front Desk of the Rio Othon Palace (Avenida Atlântica, 3264 - Copacabana).
