Mexico City is full of taquerias, but for visitors it can be overwhelming to choose from so many options and unknown names that sometimes intimidates those who don’t know what to order or worry about trying something they didn’t know is eaten.

A culinary experience carefully designed by Chef Jorge, passionate about Mexican cuisine. It will take you to the taquerias that we love, selecting specific dishes that you would hardly find on your own, many do not appear on the menus but are authentic local gems.

In addition to delighting your palate, Chef Jorge will immerse you in the culture and folklore of Mexico City. You will learn to move like a local, taste a variety of fresh waters of unique flavors and finish the tour tasting tequila and mezcal in the emblematic Garibaldi Square, surrounded by mariachi music and a festive atmosphere.

    We start our tour at "Amor y Tacos", a vibrant and colorful place located in the heart of the Historic Center. Travelers will be greeted by murals and decorations with witty phrases celebrating Mexican passion for tacos and love. Here, our guide will share the fascinating history of carnitas, an iconic dish originating in Michoacan and internationally recognized as one of the best pork preparations in the world. The traditional process of cooking in a copper pan will be explained, which gives the carnitas its distinctive flavor and its place in world gastronomy. To accompany, you will enjoy a refreshing Jamaican water, a traditional drink made from hibiscus flower.
