An adventurous trek up till the Everest Base Camp then fly out to Kathmandu without the hassle for trekking back again. The program is ideal for those who have limited traveling-time but still wish to trek the regular EBC trek and after attending the base camp fly back to Kathmandu on a chartered helicopter. Trekking into the Everest Base Camp is the most popular treks in the world where four of the world’s six highest mountains (Everest, Lhotse, Makalu & Cho Oyu) located in the Everest region. The trek here not only provides a great opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Himalayas but also get to know the local culture and traditions, especially the Sherpa community. The prime highlights of the trek are beautiful monasteries, Sir Edmund Hillary hospital and schools, Everest National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site) with varied floras and faunas.

Arrive Kathmandu and meet at the airport then transfer to your hotel. Rest of the time is free to explore/or rest at hotel.

Early in the morning, drive to the domestic airport for flight to Lukla. Meet the trekking crew at Lukla then begin trek to Phakding. The trail is filled up with green landscape and scenic view of Kusum Kangaru.
Fly to Lukla and start trek to Phakding from Lukla.
Lukla is the starting point to trek into the Everest region.
Sagarmatha National Park is the protected area & UNESCO Word Heritage Site.
Trek continues after breakfast with stiff walk thru beautiful pine forest alongside the Dudh Koshi River and crossing the Hillary suspension bridge. After a while the check-post and entrance to the Everest National Park is reached. The trail then follows the confluence of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers and reaches Chautara. Here, you will spot the first glimpse of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. Namche Bazaar is reached upon 2 hours of continue walking.
Namche Bazaar is the Sherpa capital and gateway to the Everest region.

This day is set for acclimatizing at Namche and you will hike to Everest View Hotel for great views of Mt. Everest.
Syangboche is en-route Everest Base Camp.
Trek starts with the trail being more or less smooth with few ups and downs. You will pass thru Kayangjuma then Sanasa. The trail then crosses Dudh Koshi bridge to reach Punki Tenga. After a rougher climb you will arrive at Tengboche. There’s a big monastery at Tengboche.
Tengboche is en-route the Everest Base Camp & has the largest monastery in Khumbu region.

The trek goes to the upper trail passing thru several Chortens, Mani walls and small villages. You will cross the Imja Khola and Pangboche village (3900m). Then the trial enters the Imja Valley and descends to Lobuche River. After a continuous climb Dingboche is reached.
Dingboche is a small village with one stop for acclimatization.
The trail climbs towards Duglha thru Khumbu Khola Valley. En-route you will pass along Dusa, Phulung Karpo and reach Chola Lake. The trail then crosses a small bridge and ascends to Duglha. The trail still climbs up passing Chupki Larka and continues till reaching Lobuche.
Lobuche peak lies closer to Khumbu Glacier with two peaks, the east & west.
You will go thru many ups and downs in high altitude. After a steady hiking of about 3 hours you will reach EBC from where witness the Khumbu Glacier and icefall. Later on return to Gorakshep.

The last day of your trek and you will hike to Kalapathar popular for 360 degree panoramic views of the Khumbu mountains including Everest. After Kalapathar, you will fly back to Kathmandu on group sharing helicopter and transfer to your hotel.
