How long have you got ?
For starters you have to walk down the side of a cliff to get there or back up to the road remote springs to mind 20 min to nearest town. The so called resort is so rundown and filthy it’s unhealthy the fridge behind the bar ( where we had to store our perishables) because there isn’t fridges in the rooms had not been cleaned ever , condiments on the tables were discusting mouldy around the tops and filthy another health hazard
Our bathroom was mouldy ( not uncommon in the Philippines nothing ever gets a proper clean the water pressure was woeful the toilet would not flush , we had to tip buckets of water into it ( also they wouldn’t let you put toilet paper in ( not uncommon in php also )
The hot water alternated between scalding hot and cold basically the place has been run into the ground the remote management ( who only lease the property) leave the teenager to run it
Truly a place not to go unfortunately as I have discovered it is atypical for the not so expensive places in PHP but for what they were charging not nearly good enough
Booking dot com in the Philippines is crap 💩
Most of their listings should not be advertised
I’m tired of being served up crap as so called 3 and 4 star accom
Could elaborate more but you get the message
Just don’t even entertain the place

Pros:

The diving centre was well maintained and very good diving instructors. Restaurant was good.

The area round the hotel was very dirty and should kept better maintained.

Pros:

Nice balcony with great sea view. Comfy bed. Nice and helpful staff. Good dive shop.

Dive team and dive infrastructure were ok, nice dive sites, dive masters showed lot of interesting marine life

Cons:

The hotel had potential, but unfortunately it felt quite poorly maintained. While the overall structure and concept are good, it’s clear that proper upkeep has been neglected. Several areas looked worn out, and attention to detail was lacking—something you would expect at this level.

Cleanliness and maintenance should be a priority, but here it seemed inconsistent. Small issues like outdated facilities, minor damages, and a general sense of wear added up and affected the overall experience.

With better care and regular maintenance, this place could be significantly improved. As it stands now, it feels like it’s not living up to what it could be.

Hôtel avec un très bon rapport qualité prix, en transition du retour c’était parfait.
Pros:

Le centre de plongée très bon rapport qualité prix et professionnels. La vue sur la mer au coucher de soleil. Le calme. La literie était bonne, la chambre de taille moyenne, avec placard coffre fort, sdb vieillissante mais propre

Cons:

Hotel très vétuste et assez vieux à côté dans immeuble en construction. Repas très bon et sain, mais pas très raffiné comme l’hôtel… ce n’est pas que cette hotel mais je ne sais pas pourquoi au Philippine, il y a toujours un soucis avec la plomberie (problème de pression, de température, de douche, d’écoulement, d’agencement…), même dans les hôtels hyper cher et de grande classe???

Great dive centre.
Pros:

Professionally run dive centre. Did a refresher dive with Jeff (Jefferson) which was thorough. Good dive spots close to Blue Ribbon. No coral bleaching and plenty of coral and sea life. Breakfast was included and well prepared. Attracted an international mix of age and gender some who had hundreds of dives completed.

Cons:

Would choose a sea view room if I came again.

Lovely place to stay and dive for a while….
Pros:

Perfect place to stay for a dive trip. Central to loads of great dive sites. Rooms and facilities are basic, but spotlessly clean and the restaurant serves excellent food. If you want luxury, this isn’t for you, but if you want a great dive experience, then it absolutely is! Staff are lovely, and since this is such a small resort, it’s all very personal. Owned and operated by a British guy, Jon, who is really friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

Not this resort specifically, and not even unique to the Philippines, but I wish that resorts would clean their beaches and foreshore of litter and plastic in particular. It may seem like a losing battle but it makes a big difference.

Pros:

Staff is absolutely lovely and helpful, the house reef just beautiful. Rooms are quite clean and the food is good.

Cons:

It is an expensive place, but the resort is very basic. Little pebble beach dirty with plastic littering, it would take so little to keep it clean. Many things lacking in the room, AC old and noisy , table lamp broken , rust in the shower. Noisy from the corridor and downstairs in the morning , you hear everything. The food is expensive (about 9 Euro for a ham and cheese toast with fries). For the equivalent of 90 Euro per night it should be much much better.
