Festive hours are normal pub opening times, however Christmas Day the pub is fully booked for meals, which have been preordered prior to the booking. If you wish for us to provide you with a meal on Christmas Day please contact us direct. The Pub will remain open to the public and serving till 5pm on this day.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

The food was really good. We had dinner there on both nights and the restaurant was very good.
Breakfast, room and other facilities are very good. Staff are very helpful and attentive. All food to a very good standard. Rooms clean and comfortable.
Communication before your stay is very difficult- can never get through on the phone and emails bounce back.
There was easy parking, the bed was comfortable and the shower hot.
The staff appeared disinterested in our arrival. Finally got someone's attention and shown to our room which , on first look, appeared very nice however after a few minutes we became aware of a groaning , gurgling noise which did not stop. We went downstairs and spoke to the manager who said that there was a problem with the boiler which they had not been able to fix. We asked if we could move rooms but the hotel was full. I said there had been no mention of this known problem when we booked the room however she appeared to think that we should just be fine about it ! We felt it might have been nice if she had offered us a free drink or some money off the room price given the situation.. We had no option but to stay as had no idea about the local area and had already paid. We had dinner which was ok and went to bed.
The next morning, after a restless night's sleep with groaning pipes, road noise and people stomping past our room to leave via the back staircase, we went down for breakfast where we were met again with a complete lack of interest. Two staff chatting at the Reception barely even glanced at us when we said good morning We had to ask where we should sit rather than staff greeting us and were asked several times if we were hotel guests. The restaurant only had 2 other people in it .We ordered hot food then noticed a buffet cold breakfast table which no one had even bothered to mention.
Breakfast was ok :Eggs Royale , cold and sausages microwaved and scalding hot.
Wouldn't recommend and won't be returning.
