Festive hours are normal pub opening times, however Christmas Day the pub is fully booked for meals, which have been preordered prior to the booking. If you wish for us to provide you with a meal on Christmas Day please contact us direct. The Pub will remain open to the public and serving till 5pm on this day.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Dinner & Breakfast
Water was not hot Sat night & pub wanted to shut the bar at 10.35pm - there was only 1 other couple so they wanted to close bar - fully understand but we were staying the night and would have been quite happy to have a few more drinks & relax as neither us were driving so it would have been nice to enjoyed sitting in the bar to relax for longer. Water pipes / plumbing kept us awake most of the night & could hear a radio on downstairs as we had the windows open as it was August. Radio was on again from 08.00hrs Sunday morning ( we wanted a lay in)

Felt very comfortable. Very relaxed and friendly. Some great areas to sit.
The only downside was it was so hot in our room. Was obviously 30 degrees. There was a fantastic but no air-conditioning.
ALL staff we encountered were extremely friendly courteous and appeared happy to make our stay a memorable one.Nothing was too much trouble for them and they always had a 'smile on their face' regardless of what time of day it was,especially at breakfast time.

Room very hot as no air conditioning. Fans were provided but inadequate given the high temperatures when we visited. Our room situated above back entrance and so noisy when we opened windows to try to cool room
Property was comfortable and room was very nice. Plenty of room to eat or just have a drink with outside seating areas front and back. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much bother
Only that they use full fat milk in their teas and coffees, skimmed/semi skimmed would have been preferable
