Festive hours are normal pub opening times, however Christmas Day the pub is fully booked for meals, which have been preordered prior to the booking. If you wish for us to provide you with a meal on Christmas Day please contact us direct. The Pub will remain open to the public and serving till 5pm on this day.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

On the positive side, staff were very pleasant and friendly especially those behind the bar. Very dog friendly
No instructions in room for anything – internet, shower, food times, heating or anything else
Radiator not working. Had to ask for assistance and person-in-charge not able initially to fix it but was able to, eventually, by trial and error
Hot water took up to 5 minutes to warm up
Found damp on far wall the following morning and cushions we happened to put by that wall were wet
Evening meal was very average. Mushroom gnocchi had no sauce. Bavette steak very tough, accompanying mushroom cold and side of greens consisted of loads of not very well cooked sprouts and a few small pieces of cabbage
Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Public areas and dining experience were also excellent.
The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, having paid for breakfast on both days, we were not able to benefit fully on the second day. We had to leave at 0800 on the second day to catch a flight. Breakfast starts at 0730, but as the chef was late reporting for work, our options for breakfast became very limited. The manager was unapologetic. An offer of a refund for breakfast charges, or a reduced rate, would have also been welcomed.
