This is an excellent family run hotel in an historically significant house. Large comfortable rooms with a great breakfast available.

Zentral in der Altstadt
Pros:

War zum ersten Mal in der Gelnhausener Altstadt untergebracht. Sehr zentral, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Beim Check in traf ich Herrn Denhardt, dem Besitzer. Er machte einen sehr freundlichen Eindruck. Genau so wie seine Frau die ich am nächsten Morgen beim Frühstück kennengelernt habe. Sehr sympathisch!! Das Zimmer war sehr groß, das Bad sehr gepflegt und über durchschnittlich groß. Mit dem Wi-Fi konnte ich ohne Probleme arbeiten oder abends Filme auf Netflix gucken, sehr gut. Am meisten hat mich aber gefreut, dass ich beim Check in gefragt wurde ob ich eine Garage haben möchte?? Und dann habe ich eine ganz normale einzel Garage für meinen kleinen Flitzer bekommen. Sehr angenehm!!! Alles in allem hat es mir gut gefallen und werde wieder kommen!!

Pros:

A lovely family owned hotel, with very personal service...even helped us park our car in the garage which was down a very narrow passageway. Buffet breakfast was lovely.would strongly recommend staying here.

Pros:

Liegt ganz nah am Zentrum aber trotzdem ruhig. Gut ausgestattet, sogar Tageslichtbad. Frühstücksbuffet hatte viel Auswahl und war ganz lecker. Ich würde das Hotel empfehlen und selber nochmals hierherkommen

Pros:

It was amazing to stay at this historic site! Our room was clean and quiet. Our hosts (4th Generation caretakers of the property) were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fully stocked and delicious. Be sure to stop at Altes Weinkellerchen for the tastiest supper by a gourmet chef in cozy romantic atmosphere. The Eulenspiegel is a nice second breakfast spot.
