Fun Retreat Resort, Hotel and Ayurveda Spa

My sister and her family had a wonderful time. This is the Bestest place for children. They have so many amenities for children. Best place in Arusha for families with children.

Very nice property in terms of cleanliness, staff courtesy and excellent location.
On site swimming pool and the Ayurveda spa and massage facility adds value to the stay.

We had a lovely time at Fun Retreat Resort on our final night in Arusha after our safari! The grounds are gorgeous - a true tropical feel - and our family had a great time in the water park! The food was delicious, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Room was dated and tiny. The hotel added a single bed to a room that originally had a double bed so there was hardly any space to walk around/put baggage. Bathroom shower was strong, but limited counter space. Did not use the water park. Breakfast was fine and complimentary.

Our family had a wonderful experience at Fun Retreat Resort. We can’t praise the staff enough. The grounds are immaculate. The food was outstanding. It’s accessible to nearby shops. There are loads of activities for children. We arrived very late and left extremely early. Emmy and the team were gracious and supportive. Thank you for a dream come true trip.

Stayed only one night, found the staff very friendly. The meal served was delicious, rooms clean and comfortable. Lovely environment.

Beautiful and serene place. Very child friendly. The stuff are always available to help.

Our stay was first class - great rooms, wonderful pool, perfect location for our stayover, very quiet, staff very attentive and helpful.

The only negative to our stay was the length of time to prepare our evening meal.

Would highly recommend this hotel.

The property look good but at. iChat it started raining and I was already slept and I started listening to leaks from the roof so the drops or water came on my bed . I had to wake up call the front desk and told the situation so they said will change me from room so as I have just come from a safari I was really tired and I had to pack everything again to go to another room in the middle of the night next day I complain and they just said sorry for the inconvenience . I just stayed one night and I will never return again . The only good thing is the Ayurveda treatments . But you don’t have to stay in the room to get a treatment . So don’t stay there .

The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The facility was family orientated and our stay was enjoyable.

The food is not so great and we had to wait an hour to get our dinner. But others are fine! Room is very nice the greeting was great and the place is nice.

This place in unbelievable. We didn't even bring kids and it was awesome. They do anything for you there....seriously. I felt bad because there were not many people on the property, probably because it's a bit farther away and because of Covid but it's worth the extra drive and that takes a lot for me to say. The people who work there care a lot about you and your happiness. They go the extra mile for you. Their food is excellent (I was really into the rice meal) and I had the best massage I've ever had...and I've had my fair share. They work to make sure you get to the airport when you need to. The place that we slept in was really cool. It was like our personal little home. Super neat place that was really clean. If you do safaris, they will pick you up from here so the location is still good even if it's a bit farther. Great water park for kids and swimming pools for adults and kids. They also have a lot to do on the property. I thought the landscape/layout of this place was really beautiful and the bar, where we decided to eat, was an awesome place. Pool, ping pong, couches....just a great place. The best part though, were the staff who worked there. I really appreciate them and hope the best for them and their business in the future. Out of the maybe 100 or so places I've stayed around the world this makes the top 5 for sure. Support this place you won't regret it.

Amazing Stay
Great location. I really loved the ambience of the hotel. The restaurant have great selections and food was superb. Most importantly staff was very friendly and helpful. They have nice and clean water park, amazing sports bar and Ayurveda Spa. I will definitely stay there when I come back and recommend to all

Great for young kids. New facility with lots of act to keep them busy

We stayed here right after our safari and the place was heaven sent! Wonderful spa (the best massage I’ve ever gotten!) and romantic birthday dinner at 3 Hut. The entire staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect stay. Our Cottage room was lovely and very comfortable. I highly recommend it!
