Pros:

The staff was very friendly and gave the property a family feeling. One person spoke English and was very available to assist.
The interior and decoration could definitely be freshened up though it has its charm as a family hotel without pretense.
The swimming pool is definitely a bonus after a hike on the mountain.
The location right on the trail was clearly the main reason we stayed here.

Cons:

The breakfast was absolutely not worth its money. A reheated croissant from the day before, dry industrial toasts with jam, a panini if you ask for it.
Just like the breakfast, the price for lunch is outrageous. For two, we paid €41.5 for a simple pasta with mushrooms from the forest and an affogato and a bottle of water.

Une parenthèse enchantée
Pros:

Accueil formidable. Le personnel est tellement gentil qu’on a eu l’impression d’être à la maison. Tout le monde a été aux petits soins. Nous étions là pour une cousinade: notre envie d’être tous ensemble sans pression sur les horaires a été exceptionnel. Chacun a pu y trouver son compte: certains ont profité de la piscine, d’autres des sentiers de randonnées à proximité, d’autres de la terrasse au soleil en dégustant le meilleur cappuccino a 20 km à la ronde. Un moment hors du temps plein de sérénité et de bien-être. Merci!!
