Nice little hotel in Brunswick
Pros:

This is a very well run hotel right in the heart of quaint Brunswick. All the hotel rooms are nicely remodeled and have a modern vibe. We liked the well-stuffed kitchen and the milk, coffee and tea provided. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, easy check-in.
There is a hotel bar and a restaurant downstairs with live music and interactions almost every night. We stayed for one night only on a Monday where there was just Bingo going on, so the noise level was low, but they have dueling pianos on Fridays and weekends - too bad we missed it.
The hotel does not provide parking, but there were some spaces on the streets in the neighborhood.

Cons:

My son's room did not have that issue, but our room was next to an apartment building where the AC was running the whole night and it was quite noisy.

It was ok for the reason we were there
Pros:

Staff was very helpful and friendly when they were available. Especially Resser who made us felt welcome and assisted us throughout. Initially we were worried as hotel was part of an old pub, and was not sure how it will turnout. Also Juan, Duty manager was helpful.
As we were there to attend a function nearby, location was convenient. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, utilities adequate.

Cons:

Not having a window in the room made it difficult staying in the room during day time for any length. Our sink was blocked and could not contact anyone directly out of pub working hours. Telephone number provided by Booking.com was not connected , we had to send an email! Not being able to contact anyone directly out of the pub hours was very inconvenient. Also, microwave in the room did not work properly, only cooking appliance in the room. So, place was only ok for a day or two.

Looking forward to going back
Pros:

Location great! Vibe and renovation amazing. Melbourne, especially Brunswick and Carlton has so much soul. It doesn't exist anywhere else. Very clean. Stayed one night for work in Brunswick.

Cons:

It took me a while to figure out that you need to go to the bar to check in. There's a lift to the upper floors (that needs a fob before you can access), and each room has a name and not a number. I stayed in the Brunswick room. Felt very safe - doors have ketyed deadlocks, and are very solid. This is a pub but with amazing new renovated rooms but still captures the charm of old Melbourne -- old light switches, and power points, high ceilings and chandeliers. There was a band playing in the music lounge on a Tuesday night, and jazz club close by for those into music. and lots of bespoke niche shops around.

No complaints other than the window.
Pros:

Location was good. Size of the room was excellent. Self check-in instructions for my late arrival were clear.

Cons:

Window view was blocked by a blind wall. Unless I could specifically ask for a room with an unblocked window I probably wouldn’t rebook

Curtains where torn and could close completely was woken by daylight shining my face in morning and the lounge chairs are nice but not comfy enough to settle into to watch TV

因為來墨爾本看F1，決定時間太倉促，能訂到這間離市區搭路面電車20分鐘左右的旅館很感謝！基本上都很滿意！一樓雖然假日夜晚有活動，安全控管很好，周圍附近也很多住宅區，整體出入很安全，車站也在旅館旁邊而已
Pros:

房間內部和照片一樣，空間非常可以.冰箱比一般飯店附設的大！床鋪舒適！

Cons:

衛浴的洗手台水下不去會積很長時間！後來幾乎沒用，都用小廚房那裡的！沐浴乳給成乳液！

Great location, peaceful sleep.
Pros:

Great location, tram stop right outside. Room was super quiet and easy to sleep in even though I stayed on a weekend. Comfy bed, great bathroom, even a small sitting area. Would definitely stay again, felt very safe as a solo female traveller despite returning late at night on both nights. Great places to eat nearby, and the pub downstairs was great too.

Cons:

Wish it had a microwave but otherwise perfect!
