Best place in Motor City! Convenient to everything! Walking distance to all the arenas, tons of restaurants and bars! Amazing room in fabulous hotel. Breakfast buffet is always good.
Beautiful hotel in fantastic location. Easy walk to Comerica park and little ceasars arena, as well as very good area restaurants. The hotel itself was comfortable, quiet and front desk staff extremelywelcoming

The location, the building's esthetic and historical feel. The speed of the elevator was quick and smooth. The staff we encountered was very nice and professional.
The mattress could have been much better. It was firm, but felt lumpy at times. The pillows feel flat, no support, practically as soon as you lay your head on it, it deflates to next to nothing.
My only other disappointment was the breakfast room's seating. It's tight, the chairs are packed in and take up a lot of space in order to get in or out of the seat, and you have to slide them and they make a lot of noise
Location was great within walking distance of many stores and restaurants, and safe. Room was gorgeous, huge, extremely clean, quiet. Overall I feel like the value of the room was fair given the location and allowance of dogs on premise. Friendly service. Atmosphere very chic. Wish we could have experienced the rooftop and some more of the hotel’s amenities… maybe next time!

I had a great experience at Element Detroit at the Metropolitan. The service was excellent, the property was well maintained, and the overall stay exceeded expectations. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Detroit.
We always stay at the element when we go to Detroit overnight. The location is perfect for many events. The hotel itself is very clean and beautiful. Always a great breakfast in the morning too.
Everyone that has helped us there has been friendly, especially reception.
The beds are comfy and the rooms are well put together and modern. Depending on which room there is some street noise during the night but to be expected with the location. Ear plugs were provided on the bedside tables.
Location was perfect! Staff was great. Breakfast was good loved the fruit available. Valet was expensive.

Location was nice. Right next to the Opera house a nice walk from both ball fields and Fox theater. The two gentlemen we checked in with were exceptional.
