Amazing staff. Room was huge and very clean.
I had a great experience with during a recent girls trip. 10/10 recommend, especially if you get to interact with John at the front desk. He went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, including getting us a glass of milk at 9pm.
Due to a late evening event, we arrived at check-in near midnight.
The front desk team member was incredible. He was helpful and efficient.
Great stay
Best hidden lodging location in the “ D”!
The hotel is right in the middle of all the action downtown and within walking distance to tons of restaurants and shopping. Also walking distance to the baseball field if you want to catch a Tigers game. My job has an office a block or so away so that was great for me.
I don’t know if all the rooms are the same but I basically had a small studio apartment. Full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and electric stovetop. Several plates, bowls, cups, utensils, etc. for you to use. Large bedroom area with a couch and a desk. Good sized flat screen you can stream your Netflix account on and a wide range of cable channels.
The only thing I didn’t love is having to valet park and tip every time we left and can’t back. I like to just go when I want and that’s what I’m used to, so that’s just a personal inconvenience. And I know I don’t have to tip every time but you request the car on the site and you automatically get a text letting you know they’re retrieving your car and ask if you want to. I know the guys have to walk some blocks to get it so I tipped each time with my card and there’s a $.99-$1.50 charge each time.
Small inconvenience. Great stay overall. Highly recommend!
Great hotel, great service. Had a room with a view of city. The hotel was in walking distance to everything we wanted to do ie Aretha franklin amphitheater, tiger stadium and restaurants.
The hotel was in a central location and rooms were spacious and clean. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was free breakfast, including even an omelette station on Fridays.
Check in was great and the gal at the front desk was exceptional. Mentioned I was platinum and she gave us a very nice upgrade. Hotel is older so elevators are on the slower side but not a huge issue. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet which can be tough in a big city. One issue we encountered was breakfast the first day. Arrived about 15 minutes prior to closing and the cream was curdled and we were told they weren’t putting any more out for the day because breakfast was almost over.
Great location! Staff is awesome! Will return for sure
The stay was comfortable but the city noises percolate into the rooms. There's a band on one of the levels and you might as well not think of sleeping till they're done. Yes, ear plugs are provided but they're of absolutely no use. The breakfast is the same tired stuff you get in every cheap ass hotel.
The valet parking fee was $104 for 2 nights!! I thought that was exorbitant.
Amazing location, fun atmosphere, and room was perfect size with a great view!
great location and nice rooms. Rooftop view is great
Great location, fine room. The breakfast area was a little cramped, and it was very hard to hear the person across the table in some places
Great room, great breakfast, close to so many fun places in Detroit. We walked to
a concert at Fox Theater, perfect location!
What a gem. Fantastic rehabilitation of classic Detroit design. Beautiful architecture brought back to life so that we can all enjoy it.
Clean comfortable rooms. Decent breakfast, very friendly staff. Located right in the heart of downtown Detroit.
Fantastic spot near nightlife in downtown. Clean comfortable spacious rooms. Friendly staff and great breakfast. My #1 go to hotel in downtown Detroit.
Wonderful experience. Great room, staff exceptional and bar/pub food excellent! We’ll be back!
Detroit is much better to visit than Chicago. Less traffic, better food and much nicer people. This hotel is perfectly situated for a fun weekend.
Great location with 2 restaurants and bars. Room was large and clean and well stocked with towels and necessities. Great stay I will be back for sure.
