LE bon hôtel de Mahahual...
Pros:

Un accueil chaleureux et attentif. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables, décorées avec soin. Très bonne literie. Le temps orageux nous a privé de la baignade en piscine, mais celle-ci était propre et entretenue. Produits naturels en cosmétique et cadre serein. Petit déjeuner très correct et varié fourni par le café d'à côté...

Cons:

L'hôtel est un peu isolé, proche de la grande route, dans un cadre qui n'a absolument rien de touristique. Peu de places pour le parking. Voiture (ou taxi) indispensable pour bouger et voir la ville compte tenu de l'emplacement.
Sentiment d'être un peu dans un ilôt au milieu du quotidien des habitants...

Voldoende / goed voor het verblijf maar vreemde manier van ontbijten.

Rommelig ontbijt.
Koffie niet beschikbaar bij het ontbijt, moet je op je kamer gebruiken.
We verbleven 4 nachten en de 3dag mochten we onze hotel kamer koffie ( zelf zetten) meenemen naar het ontbijt .
Ontbijt was weinig keus: alleen dingetjes met eieren.Geen fruit of toast en bv jam.
Deze dingen kon je dan kopen in het cafeetje ernaast maar hoorde niet bij het ontbijt.
Met medewerkers hierover gesproken, zij gaven aan dat ze het zouden evalueren.
Personeel was over dit ontbijt niet echt duidelijk en kribbig.

Kleines Juwel im Paradies
Pros:

Das Hotel befindet sich im "mexikanischen" Teil von Mahahual, lediglich 15 Fußminuten vom Meer entfernt. Trotz der nahe gelegenen Straße, ist es in den Zimmern ruhig, so dass man gut schlafen kann. In unserem Zimmer gab es während unseres Aufenthalts auch keine Moskitos. Viele kleine Details "schmücken" das Hotel und machen es besonders. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und hatte eine Kaffeemaschine sowie einen Wasserspender. Beides wurde nach Bedarf aufgefüllt bzw. man konnte sich von dem Kaffee , der am Empfang bereit stand, nehmen. Das Bett war 2,00 x 2,00 m groß und sowohl für Leute, die gerne härtere Matratzen mögen als auch für Menschen, die lieber etwas weichere Matratzen bevorzugen, gleichermaßen bequem. Die Kissen waren - untypisch für Mexico - weder hart noch zu dick. Die jederzeit heiße Dusche hatte einen kräftigen Strahl. Vor dem Zimmer (2. Etage) gibt es eine große Terrasse mit Tischen und Hängematten, von der man bis zum Meer sehen kann. Der Pool hat eine schwimmbare Größe und war der wärmste sämtlicher Hotels, in denen wir auf unserer 4-wöchigen Reise übernachtet haben. Das Hotel wird von 4 sehr sympathischen Schwestern betrieben, die den Gästen jederzeit freundlich und und hilfsbereit Auskünfte und Tipps geben. Frühstück wird im Café nebenan serviert oder man kann es sich auf sein Zimmer bzw. die Terrasse bringen lassen. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die leckeren Rühreikompositionen oder die frischen Früchte mit Müsli und Joghurt. Wichtig zu wissen wäre noch, dass einige süße Katzen und (kleine) Hunde mit im Hotel "wohnen". Ein weiterer Grund dafür, dass wir uns 4 Tage lang pudelwohl gefühlt haben.

Pros:

We loved our stay at la Jaiba. It is being run by a mom and her four daughters from Mahahual. From the greetings to the end, the entire team was accommodating and helped us with everything. The breakfast at the cafe was delicious. We were able to rent bikes with them to get to the beach. The bike lane is easy and well maintained, it’s a 5 minute bike ride away. The pool is comfortable and the entire hotel is trying to work sustainably. They also take care of stay animals and their dogs are so sweet. We would have loved to stay longer. Thanks for the great time!

Super hotel, gastvrij, schoon en ruim!
Pros:

Het is een super fijn hotel. De kamer is ruim en netjes. Het bed ligt goed, badkamer is prima. Je hebt een eigen buitenruimte wat erg prettig is. Het ontbijt was lekker (ze hebben een samenwerking met het café naast het hotel, dus je kunt vanalles ontbijten). De vrouwen die het hotel runnen zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en redden bovendien straathonden en katten uit de buurt. Top hotel dus.

Cons:

De locatie was niet super. Het is fijn om van het strand af te zitten, want dat overspoelt met (Amerikaanse) toeristen van cruiseschepen. Het hotel zit aan een relatief drukke weg die ook ‘s avonds laat nog herrie veroorzaakt. Met een paar oordopjes is het goed te doen.

Cons:

Nous avions un petit déjeuner compris. Au final il y avait que des oeuf brouillés de compris , avec un jus d orange. Apres si vous vouliez des pancakes ou des toasts ou autres supplément. Par contre eau et café disponible dans la chambre

Très excentré par rapport a la plage. Salle de bain très petite. Plein d’animaux dans l’hotel ce qui était plutôt sympathique mais on n’as pas aimé que les chats sautent sur la table du petit déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner très simple ( omelette et café)

Excepcional y relajante. Muy recomendable.
Pros:

Un hotel hermoso, las habitaciones muy cómodas y limpias. En la noche con todas las luces prendidas se ve preciosa la alberca. El staff siempre fue muy agradable y nos dieron recomendaciones muy buenas de lugares donde comer. ¡Todo excelente!
