Fletcher Boutique Hotel Slaak - Rotterdam

This is consistently a great hotel and yet seems to be underutilised - go have a try. Oostplein is very conveniently located to most attractions but lacks the name say of Rotterdam Central or the Erasmus bridge.

Great property in walking distance from the station and the famous cube houses.

Short walk to Oostplein tram stop. There is a metro stop nearby too.
Room was comfortable, if a little dark, even after getting a lightbulb for light over desk area.
Fridge was useful
Decent shower
Unusual to have separate toilet to shower & sink area.
Very tasty hot breakfast

Très agréable chambre deluxe avec beaucoup de style avec un frigidaire et une grande table . Grand lit vraiment très confortable . Propreté impeccable. Le petit déjeuner était complet et la salle petit dej coquette . Personnel très professionnel. Notre semaine dans cet hôtel n’a été que bonheur avec un très bon rapport qualité prix .

Wat een mooi hotel met schitterende kamer! Wel jammer is dat er geen enkele referentie aanwezig is naar de oorspronkelijke functie van het pand waarin het hotel gevestigd is. Zo gaat een stukje erfgoed verloren.

The design of the hotel is beautiful. The receptionists and bartender were all kind. The hotel room itself was beautiful, clean with a wonderful view however, there was a night where we experienced the elevator not working, no one on site and had to force the doors open to be able to enter our rooms. The internet was also not working so we were scared we’d be locked out of our hotel. When we notified the staff the next day they gave us free breakfast for 2 days. Honestly, I would have appreciated that night refunded because I had never experienced something like this with a hotel before and questioned where we’d sleep that night had we not been able to open the door. On our last day, a particular lady working in the buffet was very rude and disrespectful to multiple people including myself.

Beautiful place, just had a terrible experience with the elevator and lady at the buffet. Besides that, everything was wonderful.

The front desk lady did a great job but the guy cared less that our bathroom was dirty - he did change our room though.

Breakfast was very basic and restaurant service team was not good which is unfortunate due the stylish restaurant.

The stay was great and very convenient. The breakfast was great.

Just Great Overall Will Definitely Book With Them Again

A nice, well styled hotel. With it being a smaller hotel, it has some unique hallway situations, my room was only accessible by stairs, which was fine by me, but other people seem to have issues with that. Maybe ask for a room accessible by elevator if you have very big luggage.
In general I was happy, just some small annoyance: my TV remote was missing and somebody’s half eaten room service tray was sitting in the hallway for 24h+ even after housekeeping made up the rooms on that floor.

The place is nice, quite a walk to the center but still walking distance.. has a couple of nice places to eat around. The staff at the reception is a bit cold but they are ok, seems like the less you engage with them the more they are happy

Elevator was broken so they offered free breakfast which I only used 1 of 3 mornings.

I was able to work comfortably from the hotel and the gym was decent with free weights.

Friendly accommodating staff and good location.

Was sehr unangenehm war, dass die Dusche bzw. das Badezimmer im Schlafzimmer integriert ist. Einzig Gute war die separate Toilette.

I have never had such a poor experience at a hotel. When we arrived there was some kind of older adult rave happening inside and the entire entrance of the hotel was blocked off. We didn’t believe this was our hotel and spent some time totally confused on the sidewalk until realizing and having to walk through the party with all our luggage and drunk people waving us along. The front desk staff was rude and short and totally unapologetic for the seriously loud noise in the lobby that made it nearly impossible to hear him. When we finally got the keys to our room we were struck by the dirty stained carpet in the hallway and how hot and stuffy the room was. The icing on the cake was that there was no sheets on the bed. This place was unclean and lacked hospitality in every way and was a terrible first impression of Rotterdam. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here.
