Lovely clean hotel, with easy walk to the town and the quay. Friendly staff and great breakfast included.
The staff were great
Breakfast was awful. Would not recommend. No mushrooms, no fried eggs and the scrambled eggs were awful, over done and cheap eggs. Yuck. The sofa bed had some odd stains on it, just a bit grubby really.

Breakfast was okay. It was included but wouldnt opt for breakfast included if had to pay. Toaster took longer than my domestic one at home

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, Exeter for a night at the start of our Devon/Cornwall road trip and liked it a lot so we booked it again for the end of our road trip! Very clean and comfortable with a good breakfast buffet and only a few minutes drive from Exeter St Davids train station.

The Holiday Inn Express was centrally located for Exeter, allbeit an uphill walk to the town centre. The wifi was free, a nice room and the free breakfast was fantastic!

Breakfast was good and the staff were good. The location is ok too.
Very expensive. £30 for a dog and £18 for parking. They don't even provide a water bowl for the dog in the room. I'm not too sure why a dog should carry a £30 charge. As far as I can see the rooms are cleaned like all the rest?
The room was very small but it was ok.
Parking is a rip off. Just include it in the price and people will feel happier!
Well run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet, comfortable beds and quiet room made for a great experience.

The busy by-pass outside but ss compensation the riverside walk is very close.
