I stayed in a small double, it was small but very cozy and well appointed. Great resturatunt on the roof and many fine restuarents in the the area. Its 15/20 minute walk to the centre of dublin and its easily connected by tram too.
Parking options are limited.
Perfect arangement of hotel facilties. Bar, restaurant, cinema, espresso window with light pastry, great hotel staff, everything you need, or dont even need in the room.
Very good location - bus stop very near, basic services also few meter away.
Very pleasant experience.
When I think back, I recall a leaking shower with lots of mould in it, that was a little disturbing and inconvenient, since we had to mop the floor after every shower session.
lovely roof top bar restaurant and very nice staff and lovely white towels.
Car parking is a real issue with the car park only having 7 spaces and a good 10 minutes walk from hotel and difficult to find. Hotel on a busy road with no set down awkward for taxis. Walls thin so early morning was quite noisy with doors banging. Room needs a bit of tlc.
A stay which was massively disrupted by other guests who had a loud altercation during the early hours. As a result, I had a very poor night’s sleep.
The room was satisfactory, albeit expensive for the size. The experience was blighted by misbehaving hotel guests which I appreciate was difficult to handle for the hotel staff.
Love, love this hotel. Home from home.
Staff are so helpful and friendly. As a solo female traveller I feel safe and secure.
This is a gem and a find of a hotel.
Food definitely could be improved.
Soughdough would break your teeth! But everything else is perfect.
Noise of deliveries at 6am
.sorted with earplugs.
Food definitely needs to be looked at.
But Irish breakfast is fantastic.

Early drop off of luggage
Very bad smell of sewage in room for all of my stay. Room 103
I appreciated the atmosphere of the interior: Bar, Rooftop, hallways, even the stairs.
The bed is good but for a 2m/6'7'' person maybe a bit boxed in. Diagonal yes.
Great and affordable place to stay, very comfortable and good location if you don’t have a car.
Parking wasn’t onsite which was a bit of a hassle considering the bad weather but not bad, and no water in one of the two rooms we booked.
Comfortable bed and clean room. The lady on check in was really nice and friendly.
The barman in the lobby restaurant wasn't very pleasant 😕 not sure he wanted to be there. No water in the room to drink unless you bought it from the mini bar. Rooms not soundproofed. Could hear everything through vent. Compared to other hotels in the area I think it is lacking.
Excellent staff, lovely decor and very comfortable.
Rooms are small but every inch is utilised.
The hotel offers a lovely experience : great food (both at the bar or top-floor restaurant), room lovely decorated, comfortable beddings and nice staff. It is well located in Ranelagh, close to DART transport and buses that drive you quickly in the city center.
Our family room was located on the street side, there is a constant traffic on the street and the room was not well soundproofed. The noise (caused by constant buses and cars passing by) was not nice. We did not sleep well at night and it was hard to relax for naps.
We felt cold air passing through the window also, my husband got cold and fell sick. We asked for a different room but we could be accomodated.
Where it was located
The shower wasn’t great
Super convenient and lovely staff. Aesthetically it is a gorgeous hotel with a nice vibe.
Although we didn't use it, we did pop down to look at the cinema in the basement, which was wonderful.
There was a odd smell in the hall outside the room.
