This hotel is easily as good as if not better than many at twice or 3 times the price I've stayed in...& I've stayed in hotels many times for work in UK & world wide for leisure over the years. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The room is small as described is not big but very well designed for convenience and comfort. It is in a great location, was exceptionally quiet..we heard nothing all night... despite being in a lively area. The shops and major attractions are a short walk as are the national & local stations. Room facilities were excellent. A very comfy bed, ample storage, a good bathroom... shower has equally good water pressure.. and a nice big tv. It even had a fridge. Hotel rooms can be cold, so we welcomed an efficient radiator we could adjust to our preference on a chilly spring morning. I was impressed that the mirror in the bedroom could be lit up for use putting make up on or drying hair. Someone has put a lot of thought into the design to provide a very reasonably priced room but one offering a lot of bang for your bucks!!

The room was beautiful, very comfortable and clean, cleaning staff very attentive and the staff I encountered on reception were lovely!
My only problem was the noise from outside which is not the hotel’s fault at all. However I would say maybe more soundproofing could be added to the rooms facing the main street given the number of bars/nightclubs nearby.

We were charged a surcharge for breakfast depending on what you ordered which was disappointing as we had prepaid for breakfast.
The lighting in the room was poor very very dark with little natural light. The bathroom was designed for disabled people not very user friendly.
