The shower in the terrace room needs a thorough cleaning or better still an upgrade because it is really dated.... The walls are very dirty.... Tiles are in bad shape etc
Central location. Walking distance to major tourist sites within the Faith district. Polite welcoming staff who spoke English and assisted with luggage. Good communication with hotel. Requests made were fulfilled. Choice of many restaurants within immediate neighborhood. Smelling fresh baked bread in the morning from next door bakery. Large room with balcony and view of lively street below offering much to see. Quiet room.
Was woken up at 3:00am in the morning by someone trying to get into the room on first night despite the room being the only one on the top floor. Reception staff located in another building down the street. Inadequate bed linen - no top sheet, just a light cotton blanket. Breakfast was averaged compared to other offerings within same price range. Difficult to get a taxi for pick up.
Location! Location! Location! It's around the corner of all main sites. Staff are very helpful and attend to your needs. I stayed in a suite and it was fab! Especially the deco - my favourite colours and therefore, tastefully designed and decorated.
They could improve their breakfast selection as it was the same every single day and quite mundane. Would have been nice to have a selection of basic pastries.
Small cosy room, great for short stays. The accommodation is in a town centre, so very close to restaurants and historic places. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
The room is above restaurants and bars. The music was very very loud until 11pm or midnight and I'm the person who can tolerate loud noises. Even everything else was quite good I wound not stay here again just because of noise.
The woman who worked in the daytime was wonderful.
I was surprised at breakfast one morning when I was told I could not take my small dish of cookies to my room- I am the most clean person ever and after being kept up all night by very loud guests I thought the comments about my cookies were a little ridiculous.
One of the night managers seemed to ignore the very loud volume that kept me up all night because of the loud noise.
On the day of my check out I was told I owed money for a cappuccino
that I asked for one day.
I don't understand this policy as I was a guest for 13 nights and it was offered at breakfast every day.
One last thing; I would suggest you have breakfast from 7-10:30 because we are on vacation and it is nice to not have to rush in the morning.

The staff were all very nice and helpful except room cleaning staff. The cleaner never mop the floor, so the floor was dusty with full of someone’s hair. Also, they never replenish instant coffee and tea bags. They just made a bed and empty a waste bin. The service standard of room cleaning needs to be improved.
Other than that, the hotel facilities were fabulous and enjoyed my stay.
