Pros:

Wedged into the mountains of Oman! Lovely establishment, VERY SECLUDED, abundant of nature. Not your typical hotel.

Pros:

Sama Wakan Heritage Home interesting place for one or two resting days. Traditional Omans Village Rooms was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly especially on the first evening, when we come.

Mooi ingericht.
Maar...kan er echt geen verwarming ? Enkel een klein heatertje is niet voldoende. En in de nochtans gezellige zitruimte was er ook niks van vuur...
Om te eten.... buiten ? En dan met een heater aan de voeten ? Alleszins niet duurzaam.
Jammer want Wakan is een authentiek dorp en het is een mooie wandeling.

Cosiest hotel with best mountain views
Pros:

Absolutely amazing place! We spent only 1 night there and went hiking around the day after and it was the best part of our 5 days in Oman. The hotel and its staff are just fantastic and the place is beautifully decorated. Must have a 4x4 to get there though as the last few km are off road and could be really challenging without a good car.
