Elegant, upscale and comfortable
Pros:

As a first time trip for our family to Istanbul I could jot be more delighted with our decision to stay at the Hagia Sofia Mansions. The location made visiting major places of interest very convenient, the rooms are clean comfortable and the air conditioning is ample and the food was delicious. Farbod and the entire staff we engaged with made our experience a joy. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Exceptional Service from Farbon
Pros:

We had the pleasure of being looked after by Farbon, the Food & Beverage Manager, every morning at breakfast during our stay at Hagia Sofia Mansions. He was exceptional.

From the very first morning, Farbon remembered exactly what we liked and had our usual order ready without us even having to ask. His attention to detail, genuine friendliness, and warm personality made every breakfast a wonderful experience.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His professionalism and dedication to outstanding service are a real credit to the hotel.

Thank you, Farbon, for making us feel so welcome. You truly made our stay even more memorable!

Charming hotel
Pros:

Location was ideal if you want to be within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar and other historical sites. The property was well appointed and provided a truly unique Turkish experience. It was a bit of a challenge for our taxi to find the hotel on both drop off and pick up but the staff were incredibly helpful, especially Burak. Will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the heart of the action.

Очень хороший отель в самом центре, собор св. Софии напротив. Просторные апартаменты с отличным дизайном в османском стиле, все продумано до мелочей, вода пополнялась каждый день, косметика отличная. Чистота идеальная.

Cons:

такого нет, все было великолепно, завтрак просто изумительный очень разнообразный, мы жили в отеле 4 дня завтрак не повторялся.

Great stay
Pros:

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. We would like to give special recognition to Gurur, a member of the staff. He was incredibly welcoming, patient and helpful. Strong and attentive, he kindly assisted us with our luggage and arranged taxis for us. Thanks to his warm service, our stay was seamless and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our overall experience and would happily recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Best of our entire trip
Pros:

We ended our long Europe trip in Istanbul and we are glad we did - even more glad we stayed at Hagia Sofia Mansions. From the moment we walked in we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the place. Our room was large and luxurious, and the hotel’s location just can’t be beaten if you’re looking for old town vibe. Most of all, the staff were truly wonderful. Special thanks to Ceren, Olga and Gurur for their care and to the gentlemen in the courtyard for looking after the cats with such love. Truly wonderful place.

Delightful stay at Hagia Sofia Mansions
Pros:

We loved the location of course. We were traveling with four teenagers, and it was amazing to walk everywhere. The rooms were gorgeous. But the staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. Everything the kids asked for, they provided.

We loved the continental buffet breakfast every morning, and they would make special orders for the kids (we have severe allergies). Farbod was especially courteous and kind to our family. But all the staff were generous with us. And of course we loved the resident kittens also!

Amazing experience
Pros:

Our stay was very good and the attention to detail was up there with the very best. Gurur was very polite and took our belongings and drove us in the buggy to our meet point. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants be at the heart of Istanbul as the location is the best you can get.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming.

What really made our experience special was Cem, the manager Cem was incredibly professional, helpful, and attentive from check-in to check-out. He assisted us with everything we needed, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and handled all requests with a smile. His professionalism and genuine care truly set the tone for our entire stay.

Thank you to Cem and the whole team for making our trip so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Overall OK & great location - substandard facilities, some service lacking & overpriced for quality
Pros:

Superb location - happy to have stayed here despite issues identified below. Room was nice (but needs some upgrading).

Cons:

A few problems with facilities - the plugs in our room kept tripping off so we struggled to charge phones etc. The child's bed collapsed while my daughter was on it. Staff in the bar were very slow and inattentive (but other staff were excellent). The breakfast was excellent, but the meals in the restaurant sub standard.
