Really lovely, we would go again (though would bring my own hairdryer!) and would highly recommend.
Pros:

Perfect location. Our room (311) was so lovely! Large room, big comfortabale bed and pillows, big comfy sofa, large bathroom. The room was made up quickly and very well and loved our towel animals every day. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff - and the guys on reception were super helpful. The bellboys who drove us everywhere we wanted to go in the little buggys were really friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was fabulous, so much choice and the staff were great, very attentive, especially the lovely Farbod who just looked after us so well. He remembered the hot drinks we eaach had every day and what omlettes we all had and was super charming. :) Highly recommend.

Cons:

It might not seem like a big deal to the people who kit out the rooms, but the hairdryer was awful. It was on a short cord so was hard to control, and the type that you have to press the button the whole time for it to stay on, which if you've ever tried to dry long thick hair with one is a real pain. Also it was like a hurricane it was so strong. It was the same as the one in our friends room and to be honest I would expect a better hairdryer these days in a luxury hotel. Maybe a small bugbear but important on holiday!
Also there were not enough coathangers - which is always disappointing. I did ask for more but they never arrived.
Finally it was a shame there's no where to sit and have a drink if it's cold / raining - which it was when we were there. It would have been nice to sit at the end of the evening at the hotel but we couldn't because of the bad weather and the little bar being outside. There is another bar at the other reception at the other hotel - but we just wanted a nightcap and then to go straight upstairs

Pros:

Sehr großzügige und geräumige Räumlichkeiten, die bei unserer Ankunft sehr sauber und gepflegt waren. Die Lage ist ideal und ein besonderes Highlight ist die wunderschöne Aussicht auf die beeindruckende Hagia Sophia. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

It’s very central location in the heart of Sultanahmet. Walking distance of all the attractions.

Cons:

It was more like staying in an apartment but being charged hotel prices. It was difficult to get a drink past 10.30 in the hotel and the staff in the second Courtyard area were not very pleasant.

Accueil excellent, personnel aux petits soins, on n'a pas à se plaindre de ne pas avoir d'ascenseur ! chambre magnifique, situation géographique parfaite pour visiter les lieux historiques et les musées; bref je reviendrai surement !

Cons:

pour moi pas un problème, mais il faut noter qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur: pour certaines personnes ça peut poser problème si elles ont des difficultés pour se déplacer mais pour ce qui est de porter les valises le personnel nous aide avec le sourire !

Perfect stay at Hagia Sophia Mansions
Pros:

Everything ! The location was great, right in the heart of Sultanahmet. The property is unique and decorated in traditional Turkish style. Staff are excellent as was the breakfast and the restaurant. We have been travelling for 2 months and this was our favourite hotel. We hope to return one day.

We loved everything about this property. Couldn’t fault it. Very unique, perfect location, they upgraded our room as well which was much appreciated. We would love to come back if we ever visited Istanbul again.

Amazing stay in a beautiful location.
Pros:

Beautifully located and presented. People walking past were taking pictures of the buildings as they were very pretty

Cons:

None of the tv channels were in English, I know it is located in Istanbul but there was little to no choice in that regard. Also be aware that, since this is located right next to the mosque, there are crowds and the call to prayers from the mosques throughout the day and night are very loud.
