Comfort Inn White House

First attempt at a Choice hotel. Last attempt at a Choice hotel. The front desk was exceptionally rude and the place smelled like feet.

Breakfast was mostly pre-packaged foods. The toaster started on fire with flames 8-10 inches high!!!!!

It was perfect. Clean, great service, great people, great location.

The front desk attendant (Steve) was incredible. We arrived at 12am and he welcomed us with a very friendly attitude. Saw him again upon check out and he was the same way. Nicest hotel employee we’ve met!

The staff was exceptional! We requested extra pillows, no problem. Breakfast was to start at 6am, but we were leaving earlier and Steve made breakfast earlier for us so we would not miss it! Check in and check out was seamless and fast! I just was super impressed by the staff and how friendly they were and made us feel at home! Recommended 10 out of 10!

The immediate appeal with the outside view of the hotel. It looked newer, and nice. The lobby presented well, and staff was nice. The entry to bedroom was an immediate musty smell. Not fresh. Moldy / Musty is the best description. The pillows were not supportive at all. My wife was not wanting to stay due to the smell / musty air.

This property has thin towels and that is the only complaint.

It was convenient to get to, right off I-65. Walmart across the road. Cracker Barrel, Taco Bell, KY Fried and many other restaurants close by.
Nashville only about 30 minute away

We like staying here. It is always clean and feels safe. Also quiet and comfortable.

When checking in owner/manager demands credit card even though room is prepaid through Expedia. He claims it is just for "incidentals" and then proceeds to immediately charge your card just to try to extort you for a few extra dollars. Not sure how he is getting away with this but I disputed transaction through credit card and they reimbursed me but I would never stay here again with an owner who thinks he can charge you whatever random fees he can come up with and not let you know and just charge your credit card like no big deal. What a scam!
