Worst experience ever, firstly they took for ver to check me in as they hadn’t received the payment while one of your agents also spoke to them and tried to confirm the payment was done but still they wouldn’t let us in for an hour or so and the gave us a bad room with wet, swollen walls and room was smelling muggy. Then comes the bed, pillows were dirty with stains and when pointed to the staff, they arrogantly says what’s wrong with it however they did change it for another shabby ones. Floors and bathrooms weren’t cleaned in months it looked like and to top it up, they wouldn’t let us checkout unless we paid for the rooms again after having paid for it on your website. Overall most terrible experience and horrible stay at this hotel.

Lack of cleanliness: Upon arrival at the hotel we had to ask the staff twice to replace the bedsheets, pillowcases, pillows (blackened by sweat/grime) AND clean the bathroom, which had a smell of urine & naphthalene (insecticide NOT to be touched with bare hands) and a shower full of mold! To top things off, after 2pm of the checkin day there was an unbearable smell of turpentine in our room from unannounced-to-us paintworks on our floor. We had no option, but to leave the hotel for a good 3 hrs until the smell subsides, upon agreement with management that these works had to stop, as they presented a health hazard to guest like us AND staff alike! Breakfast options were very limited, with staff not maintaining basic hygiene (i.e., when requested some tea they stopped their snacking, opened a box and pulled a bag with their hands dropping it in a cup, adding hot water to top). The manager did try to “comfort” us with a basket of snacks, which we left aside, as I feel a moral obligation to protect fellow travellers by providing our negative experience at this establishment, that needs to work a lot to meet basic standards of hygiene, sanitisation & cleanliness..

All staff was very helpful food was very tasty and fresh.Hotel provide me cab for local sightseeing and evening boating and everything good.Hotel plus point that hotel near the ganga ghat only 100 metres from the hotel.If you searching best hotel in Varanasi the you should to book hotel Rivera palace and enjoy your journal.Room was very good and washroom was also clean.Hot water, tea cattle, toiletries, power backup, elevator.

Untidy rooms. Lift not working. Water supply only 2 hrs a day. Approach to the hotel pathetic and stinking with open sewage. Even after staying there and being in possession of the receipt, stay shown as cancelled with reason that we didn’t turn up. Property rating overhyped and may be manipulated. Beware of this property.
Breakfast almost same every day and not match with hotel price poor level they serve 4 night stay there only one pack of bread use no fresh and fruits same position
The waiting staff were excellent and very attentive.
We booked onto two tours, one for the city tour and one for the morning aarti. However, we were disappointed with both. The driver for the aarti was late, so we missed the aarti and didn't go on a boat trip. The city tour felt rushed and although our guide was knowledgeable about religion, he felt the quality of information about the city was lacking.
Pretty much everything good.
Location is in a narrow road where it’s hard for taxis to go in. Breakfast is not up to the mark and same menu everyday.
