Parking for guests of the Rydges Wellington Airport is available in the Wellington Airport multi-level car park building on levels 2 to 7 at a rate of $30.00 per overnight stay. The Wellington Airport car park building is located adjacent to the hotel. Upon entering the car parking building, you will be required to take a ticket. Please present this ticket to Hotel Reception for validation prior to exit.

If you do not validate your ticket at Hotel Reception prior to exit, standard Wellington Airport car park pricing applies. Hotel staff have no way of knowing if you have parked your car in the car park so cannot remind you to validate this ticket. There is no way to reverse this process once started.

Pros:

The hotel suited our purpose of arriving in Wellington and picking up a hire car the next day.
You could eat in the restaurants or go into the airport terminal for other options.
Breakfast (extra) was more than adequate.

Toilet behind door cramped, awkward to get to.
Aircon - not sure how to work or if it was set and forget, room a little cool.

Pros:

Comfy bed / good bar 🍸 and great location for an early flight ✈️

Cons:

Was questioned twice about my payment even though had paid through booking.com. made me feel anxious and ruined some if the experience for me calling my room and having to come down to give me card details. Should be better communication between hotel and booking.com to save guest embarrassment .

Ok for what we needed
Pros:

Very modern and clean room. Location perfect next to the airport.

Cons:

Not good value for money, very expensive both the room and the restaurant downstairs. Had issue with restaurant not serving us the cut of steak as advertised but this was rectified by not having to pay for the meal.
