For a short stay it was exactly what we needed as we were out all day. The Pods were surprisingly comfortable and majority of the guests understood respectable shared space areas. If you're after a value for money and happy to share common areas this is a unique stay.
If you are very tall the Pod might not be a comfortable sleep.
Pros
-location (cbd edge, walking distance to grocery/eateries)
-firm comfy bed
-easy check in and out
-secure lockers
Cons
-can hear snores and sounds pretty clearly through the pods (plus fairly loud plastic/metal creaking when people climb in their pods)
-being 166cm, I fit without feet/head touching the pod, and didn’t feel claustrophobic, but I suspect a 180cm person would have to sleep sideways or lil more bent
-Luke warm shower was painful for such a cold day, I couldn’t wash my hair :(
-no parking (free on Saturday night and Sunday in the cbd streets though)
Kitchen area
Bed mattresees in my location were noisy at times when people moved on the mattresses. A person sleeping near me was coughing all night. THe shower should have been hotter.
I was playing an 8ball tournament 2 blocks away and location ment it was close
Both sides of me were snoring. A Japanese fella was cooking food it stunk the whole area out then the next morning burn some kinda of fish it was putrid. Showers are small and no room to get dressed. Toilets are to close the Japanese person was in toilet next to me and it was bad. I'm not racist or anything but yeah that food was putrid.then there was some guy laying all over the tables standing on the benches wrapping himself in the curtains in the kitchen definatly high on ice was no security to contact.
Location was great but pods was a new experience so need to try more.
Continue clicking of door security to get to bathroom at night.
The sleeping pods were super cool i really loved spending time
I liked everything except the empty covers left out of the free breakie
Location and price . Very clean place
Nighttime noise
The location, price & cleanliness
It was so noisy we couldn’t sleep. We left at 11:30pm & slept in the car. A man was drinking alcohol on the floors outside the pods watching porn on his phone.
