Lovely little inn with superb staff and terrific location on the river
Pros:

Beautiful location on the river across from Clam Island that you can get to over a foot bridge. The staff is terrific, kind and super friendly. Helped with bookings, suggestions for restaurants, etc. The view from the terrace where we had a delicious breakfast with multiple options helped start the day with gratitude for being in such a beautiful country.

Lovely quiet spot away from the road by the river, breakfast outside overlooking the water, perfect. Friendly staff

Cons:

Booked a super deluxe double ..whatever that means, paying extra for a garden view, which was a wall with bamboo on it, the garden room (photo 1) was occupied. Charged extra to occupy the room as we arrived early, offered no refreshment at all. This contrasts sharply with my previous visit to a homestay in Hue where I was given breakfast, coffee and access to my room. We were offered another room but this misses the point, we should simply get the room we booked and had paid extra for. Fruit plate...3 X 1cm thick slices of watermelon

Gia đình tôi đã đón tết tại homestay đáng yêu. Chắc chắn sẽ quay lại
Pros:

Bữa sáng rất ngon. Nhân viên siêu thân thiện, tư vấn hỗ trợ nhiệt tình. Homestay có view đẹp, khung cảnh yên bình. Vị trí thuận tiện đi lại các điểm vui chơi, ăn uống.

Cons:

Cửa sổ không có lưới chống muỗi nên không tận hưởng được không khí tự nhiên. Mở cửa sẽ có nhiều côn trùng bay vào.

Great place to stay in Hue!
Pros:

We loved the people working at La Paix, a warm welcome with a smile even at 10pm! The next morning the host explained the sights to us, arranged for a private boat to take us to the pagoda and the citadel and then a private car to Tu Duc’s tomb. The beds are the best we experienced in Viet Nam so far, everything was very clean and well organized in the room. We warmly recommend La Paix and would definitely go back there!
