TIRED old hotel in a beautiful convenient spot from Stavanger airport. So so Spa. Room carpeting in both buildings is

Gorgeous location and super close to the airport. very convenient, but be warned that it is still a 240 NOK taxi ride for a 5 min drive. Spa facilities were OK. One Sauna was great, and nice hot tub. But small overall and not worth the cost. Breakfast was nice and had a lot of choice.

Cons:

Where do I start: The “upgrade” to a sea view was appreciated from what I booked, but the quality of the room was shocking. The carpets had SO many stains and were so worn. The furniture was from 1970. The bed was good, but the rest of the was worth about 500NOK in quality. Shocking. Let’s add a big negative to the “rules” around the use of the spa. If you use the spa while there - it isn’t included in the rate, but you get charged another 250 NOK. That is misleading based on their website alone, but if you don’t go to the spa before you check out, they want to charge you 450 NOK. The staff was NOT helpful here, citing the “rules” that are just not based on any common logic of how to treat a guest who has already paid substantial to be there already.

Wij waren blij met de locatie!

Cons:

Diner viel tegen. En je boekt o.a. voor spa en dan is de spa gesloten.
