A hotel that was better than most for my price point.
Pros:

I paid for the deluxe upgrade and had a beautiful view of the mountains and city centre, which was especially pleasant in the morning.

Cons:

There is no AC or obvious ventilation. The room smelled damp, there was black mold in the bathroom fan and some orange mildew in the washroom. The balcony is shared so your privacy is not perfect.

Pleasant stay, would definitely be willing to stay here again if I ever come back to Sapa again!
Pros:

Very good location short walk to the town square and downtown. The views from the balcony were very nice when it wasn’t foggy. It was a bit cold but thankfully the beds were equipped with bed warmers + a portable heater fan. The property had a washer that could be self used. The staff or owners were very friendly and helpful and even let us check in early when we arrived which was a very nice bonus in our case!

Cons:

The doors were window doors covered with a thin sheet materiel which let in quite a bit of light from outside your room so if you like a dark room for sleeping make sure to bring or get a sleep mask. Other than that everything else worked as it should and was overall a good place to choose to stay.

Owner lady is very good at arranging for trips and tickets in and around sapa. And not only that, when I was about to travel to ha long bay, she only planned my itinerary the way I asked for.

Good value for money and ideally located
Pros:

Location is very ideal as ithas nerby muslim halal restaurent. Besides other attraction is within walking distance.

Cons:

The parking space is very limited may be for three vehicles only.

Pros:

Hotel is very close to the Sapa center. Our balcony had a great view of the mountains and the city. Staff is responsive and helpful. They dont speak English very much but communicate well with texting and Google translate. The host kept her gaze on us and made sure we took the right turn to get to the city center :) I appreciate that. Upon my request, they arranged taxi for pickup and drop to the Lao Cai train station. Drivers are friendly. The place is not very new but kept clean. A good place at a reasonable price.

Pros:

Staff were really friendly and helpful, room is very cosy with an amazing view. Really close to centre but far out enough that it’s not too noisy.

Cons:

Crazy amount of mosquitoes in the room! Pretty unavoidable as it’s so close to nature but just be sure to bring bug spray etc:)

The most APPALLING place I have EVER stayed at! DON'T EVER STAY HERE!
Pros:

Nothing, this is absolutely one of the most appalling places I have ever stayed at.
The 9.2 'Superb' rating on Booking.com MUST BE FAKE!
Only positive - I didn't get bug bites
Should not even be described as a hotel but as a container - DON'T EVER STAY HERE!

Cons:

Effectively this is a corrugated steel container divided up into pod like rooms. The shower room was rusting, with leaking pipes and very stained towels. The old spring mattress was lumpy, the bedding so disgustingly stained - I slept on top of the duvet. Checked out after one night
