Pros:

De tuin, de rust en natuurlijk de villa zelf. Smaakvol ingericht en ontzettend aardig personeel.

Cons:

Het eten in restaurant is lekker maar niet smaakpapillen prikkelend. De opmaak op het bord van 1 menu was onooglijk.
Verder valt over smaak te twisten.

Un hôtel confortable et un accueil froid sans aucune empathie.
Pros:

la chambre est spacieuse, l'hôtel dans un cadre de verdure au calme.

Cons:

L'accueil commercial, l'absence de réponse quand on pose une question. Nous avons eu un problème de voiture, aucun mot pour compatir. La personne de l'accueil ne fait pas d'effort pour répondre à nos questions du type, pourrions-nous, prendre le petit-déjeuner un peu plus tôt, et répond qu'elle ne sait pas , qu'il faut aller voir en cuisine.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux, mais l'espace dans lequel on le prend, une véranda, était glacial, malgré les chauffages à infrarouge positionnés au plafond. Pas de services de courtoisie comme une bouilloire pour prendre une infusion dans la chambre ce qui pour un hôtel de ce standing est surprenant.

It would have been great to have had a kettle in our room
It was a bit expensive getting taxis into Lucca

Enjoyable, picturesque, relaxing. Would recommend for one or two nights but no longer.

No tea and coffee facilities in rooms. Not enough coat hangers. Dinner in the restaurant was disappointing. Hotel says children welcome but apart from a swing, there was no play area, for a kick about for example.

Lovely villa and relaxing stay
Pros:

The villa was really beautiful, everything from the rooms to the outside garden with the pool. It was very clean and even with the more classic style furniture that added the extra charm, it felt very modern and fresh. The pool area was very nice and well taken care of. The location is great too, a bit outside Lucca, but easy enough to get around with the Taxi if you don't have a car as well. The staff were very friendly as well and made us feel welcome.
