Not even close to a 4star hotel
Pros:

The breakfast was good and there is a lovely pool if the weather is good.

Title: Nowhere near a four-star hotel – a very disappointing experience

This hotel does not deserve its four-star rating. Not even close.

The beds were absolutely terrible, extremely uncomfortable and completely unacceptable for a hotel claiming to offer four-star standards.

To make matters worse, we found stink bugs (flying insects that release a very unpleasant smell) inside our room. Finding these insects in a hotel bedroom is simply unacceptable.

The overall experience fell far below what anyone should expect from a four-star establishment, particularly in terms of comfort and room maintenance.

A four-star rating should be a guarantee of certain standards, not just a sign hanging at the entrance.

Very disappointing. I would certainly not recommend this hotel.

Pros:

An exceptional villa—a fantastic estate featuring olive-tree gardens surrounding the pool. The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and there is a very appealing restaurant on-site; it is also very well located.

Everything was wonderful. The room is spacious and very clean. The property is very pretty and they gave us a box with gifts for our baby dog which was very special

Perfekt um die Umgebung von Lucca zu erkunden!
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön. Es hat einen grossen Garten mit Olivenbäumen und einen tollen Pool. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen👌🏻!

Friendly stay in a countryside villa 10 mins drive from Lucca’s old town.
Pros:

The staff were so lovely - friendly and helpful. The restaurant served some really great food when we dined there one evening. The hotel was in a nice and quiet garden setting albeit a short drive from Lucca’s old town.

Cons:

The room we had was comfortable enough for our short stay, but quite basic and a bit tired in its décor (e.g. wobbly tap, shower door didn’t close properly). May have been a bit cramped with two people and two large suitcases if staying much longer. Breakfast buffet was fine but fairly simple (e.g. we weren’t offered any freshly cooked items as we’d experienced in some other hotels).
