Pros:

Clean, warm and close to station and restaurants. They kindly loaned us umbrellas and stored our luggage for the day

Cons:

There were no family rooms available, so we split the fam and had 2 rooms. Ok but not great

Very clean room & loft beds were amazing.
Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay at CHISUN BUDGET Kanazawa Ekimae. For a budget hotel, it exceeded my expectations in several ways.
The rooms were a highlight. I loved the loft bed layout — it made the space feel more open, and it was great that we could sleep separately. The beds were thoughtfully designed with easy-access power outlets and light switches right by the bed, so you don’t have to get up to turn the lights off. Small details like that made the stay much more comfortable.
Service was solid and reliable, exactly what you’d expect from standard Japanese hospitality — polite, efficient, and smooth.
The location is convenient in terms of transportation, being close to both the train and bus stations. It is a bit farther from restaurants and convenience stores, and the area is pretty quiet. One minor downside is that there isn’t a direct crosswalk to the station, so you have to walk slightly out of the way — but it doesn’t really add much extra time.
Overall, this is a great budget-friendly option in Kanazawa, especially if you value smart room design and a calm location near transit.
