Perfect, warm, comfortable, and clean! An excellent stay experience!
Pros:

Absolutely wonderful! My partner and I stayed here for three nights in early May, and I was actually quite reluctant to check out. The entire staff are so friendly, and we were particularly impressed by a gentleman working at the restaurant — he was humorous, dedicated, and clearly brimmed with great passion for his work. Our log cabin loft was extremely comfortable and surprisingly spacious, and the view outside was absolutely lovely. The whole little town is so beautiful, quiet and cozy, honestly everything was just perfect. When checking out, I forgot to leave a few small flowers at the front desk. So I sent an email asking the staff to take care of my flowers. They said they would definitely take good care of them and assured me that I could rest assured. I am very grateful to everyone! I will definitely be coming back again!

Cons:

It would be even better if there were a refrigerator.

At this accommodation, you have no idea what you are actually paying for in advance. The photos are misleading and distort reality. In reality, the hotel consists of two buildings: a new one, which is shown in the photo gallery, and an old multi-story building. This older building features a wasp's nest right by the entrance door, decades-old interiors, abandoned kitchen facilities, former common rooms, and low-ceilinged rooms where summer nighttime temperatures attack 30°C (86°F). You have to haul your suitcases up narrow staircases due to the absence of an elevator.This old building is not shown in the photo gallery at all, yet it is highly likely that this is where you will be staying. The owner is apparently trying to revitalize some of the rooms in the old building, but the subsequent definition of room quality is handled quite 'creatively'—seemingly adjusting it however it suits them at the moment.First surprise: the old hotel building itself. Second surprise: the rooms, at least one of which did not match the pictures from our booking.We paid for two rooms: one renovated (according to the photos) and one with an older interior. However, they checked us into two old rooms. After we objected, pointing out that we had paid for a room with a better interior, we were eventually given it, assuming the matter was resolved.We were proven wrong at checkout, when the owner charged us extra for this change, labeling it an 'upgrade.' This surcharge was demanded in a highly disrespectful manner. We didn't want to argue and ruin the end of our vacation during our stopover to visit Lucerne, so we paid. We cannot recommend this place and are just glad to be gone for good.

Toplage. Absolut ruhig! Wir haben ein Upgrade erhalten auf ein wundervolles Zimmer mit Sitzecke und Obergeschoß mit einem phantastischen Ausblick. Eine sehr nette junge Dame hat uns eingecheckt und in das Zimmer gebracht und alles erklärt.

Das Essen war einfach absolut gigantisch; ein Hochgenuß!

Cons:

Leider war es schade, dass die Matratzen sehr unbequem waren. Das Frühstück wäre traumhaft gewesen, wenn wir nicht gleich bei Betreten des Restaurants angeblafft worden wären, wo wir zu sitzen haben. Als wir von einer anderen Servicekraft an einem Tisch mit Blick auf den See untergebracht wurden, hat uns die "Einweiserin" wie Aussätzige behnadelt und nicht mehr bedient. Die nette junge Dame hat das dann mit einer herzlichen Freundlichkeit übernommen.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, wir wurden telefonisch angefragt wann wir eintreffen. Abgesehen von der sommerlichen Hitze waren die Zimmer angenehm.
Das. Frühstück wird mit den Beilagen konservativ gehandhabt, am Büffet gibt es Croissants u Cerealien. Auf wunsch werden Eier serviert.

Cons:

Ein Ventilator wäre bei der Hitze angebracht gewesen.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Kleine aber feine Speisekarte.
Die Lage mit der schönen Terrasse ist wunderschön.
Das Haus liegt nicht direkt am See, dafür ist es wunderbar ruhig.

Cons:

Leider haben die Zimmer keine Klimaanlage, was bei 33 Grad willkommen gewesen wäre.
