it was a good stay - close to shopping and walking downtown. would have prefered a room with a view
Pros:

breakfast was great - lots of choices. very clean dining room. kept finding more things to chose from. was very good.

Cons:

later time for breakfast to be served. 9:00 was too early for a couple of or late sleepers

Beware of being double charged

I was double charged. I was charged the full price from booking.com and the hotel charged me full price as well.

Great location
Pros:

Clean room. Super nice staff. Make sure to ask for a room facing the lake on the 4th floor. Next door to a fun restaurant and bar. Walking trail on lake is only a block away.

Ashland's best
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Very nice suite with full size fridge and hotplate plus microwwave. Bed was super comfy and breakfast good. Breakfast lady was helpful and answered questions.

The price is absurd!
Pros:

We won this trip as a sweepstakes....... we were still charged for the room even though it was free. I am hoping the charges come off here. I came with two small kids 3,6 and my husband. We did not stay because there was no pool and not enough things to do there. The room also had an odd smell/pee smell. The front desk lady was nice enough. I also thought we were getting a suite room and it was just two standard queens for $360😳. This was absurd. I would never pay this amount to stay at a 2 star hotel regardless. The lobby area was decent the room just smelled gross and I am sensitive to smells so we left. The mgr will not be back for a week so I am hoping the charges drop off before then.

We would stay at a Cobblestone facility again.
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the coffee was fresh all day. They had a washer and dryer for guests which was convenient since we were on a long trip.

Cons:

Not their fault but the smoke from the wildfires in Canada caused out outings to be cancelled.

Pros:

We were in and out really quickly because we were fishing all day on Sunday but our check-in Saturday night went great and we enjoyed the room and the whole energy of cobblestone was awesome.

Unplanned stay was very good.
Pros:

Hotel was well kept and the front desk did a good job of checking us in even though we did not have a reservation. Really appreciate all the good restaurants near the hotel.

Pros:

This place is very beautiful. Great rooms, soft beds wonderful breakfast! The only negative is that for the price, the water in the room refrigerator should be free!!!

Pros:

Breakfast was ok. The staff was helpful for suggestions of where to eat for dinner. We went next store for dinner at the suggestion of the staff. It was good.

Cons:

The drapes in the room were stained and didn't close all the way. Should have been cleaned or replaced. Only one chair to sit on in the room with room for at least one more chair to sit on. Cost for bottle of water extreme even though we didn't use any. For the price it wasn't worth it.

Overall it was fine.
Pros:

It was clean, decent sized space for us and our baby.

Cons:

Their cable subscription doesn’t include Nickelodeon 😂 so that was a bummer.
