I thought the room was nice, but a bit over-priced.
Pros:

The breakfast was typical, nothing fancy. But they did serve biscuits and gravy one morning- and it was pretty good. The view from our room was pretty nice. The room itself was very comfortable. The location is great, and has a fine restaurant next door.

Cons:

There was a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, stove top and microwave. And that was nice- but the silverware drawer held 3 spoons, 2 knives and 1 fork. And the frying pan wasn't too clean.

Clean, comfortable, but a bit overpriced. Would stay again if I needed.
Pros:

Beds clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for all my guests. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Coffee was excellent! Lots of USB plug ins for charging devices

Cons:

A bit overpriced. One of the machines in the exercise room was out of order. Toilet paper hard to reach. Greasy hand marks visible on the back of the door and above the bed.

Pros:

Been here before, knew what expect . The staff was very friendly.

Cons:

Room was mostly clean except for a wrapper in a corner. The offered breakfast is plain

it was a good stay - close to shopping and walking downtown. would have prefered a room with a view

breakfast was great - lots of choices. very clean dining room. kept finding more things to chose from. was very good.

Cons:

later time for breakfast to be served. 9:00 was too early for a couple of or late sleepers

Beware of being double charged

I was double charged. I was charged the full price from booking.com and the hotel charged me full price as well.

Great location
Pros:

Clean room. Super nice staff. Make sure to ask for a room facing the lake on the 4th floor. Next door to a fun restaurant and bar. Walking trail on lake is only a block away.

Ashland's best
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Very nice suite with full size fridge and hotplate plus microwwave. Bed was super comfy and breakfast good. Breakfast lady was helpful and answered questions.

The price is absurd!
Pros:

We won this trip as a sweepstakes....... we were still charged for the room even though it was free. I am hoping the charges come off here. I came with two small kids 3,6 and my husband. We did not stay because there was no pool and not enough things to do there. The room also had an odd smell/pee smell. The front desk lady was nice enough. I also thought we were getting a suite room and it was just two standard queens for $360😳. This was absurd. I would never pay this amount to stay at a 2 star hotel regardless. The lobby area was decent the room just smelled gross and I am sensitive to smells so we left. The mgr will not be back for a week so I am hoping the charges drop off before then.
