Did not go it’s shut
We didn’t end up staying here so this review is really just representative of our initial impressions. The property looked a little run down and not well maintained, the outdoor area in the courtyard was very cobwebby, for example, and when we keyed into our room it had flooded so we immediately told the manager and they sprang into action to address. It seemed that a pipe had burst, so the entire unit was affected. They offered us another room that would fit our group but it didn’t have a private bath so we found another place to stay for the night and was able to get a partial refund, so they did try their best to provide a solution. We felt really bad that they had that issue, the manager looked like she was about to cry. I can’t speak to the other features and amenities of the property.
Great location for exploring the speyside region. Good value for money
Hotel was clean and provided a good bed and shower. Not fancy but did the job.
The hotel had on street parking no private car parking available, the room was twin ordered a double deluxe which was changed at property no problems, staff very helpful very friendly short staffed but hotel operated as normal with breakfast which was small but mighty, sets you up for the day ahead
Hotel does evening meals but due to staffing levels they couldn't provide this service.
Roon was bright very warm without heaters on and very spacious
The area surrounding hotel was not scenic views, we had to drive 8 miles to get something to eat as the nearby restaurants close Monday and Tuesdays which wasn't great no mention of this when booking
There was another hotel nearby but we were not paying £15 for a burger per person if you're visiting be prepared to eat out of town at the start of the week
Very clean and tidy and the owners David and Alison were so nice and accommodating.
Room was very spacious and large comfortable bed
Spacious, clean, not overly expensive for area, and in a lovely village
Bar and restaurant closed and no on site parking as advertised.
Room right next to crossroads / traffic lights - very noisy with cars and lorries driving past throughout the night.
Curtains paper thin and blinds missing - light started shining into room at 4.30am today.
Bed not comfortable - 2 single beds pushed together connected with only a sheet so hard ridge in the middle.
Room very dated and needs redecorated - carpets loose, plaster falling off wall in toilet, bedside lights not working.
Nice location, decent street side parking. Helpful staff. Nice well looked after property and checking was easy with very clear instructions
Being close to A Road/street-side meant that sometimes the road noise would disturb if the windows were open
Check in was very smooth. Rooms are dated with shared bathroom but all clean enough. Have booked to have breakfast but not yet been for this.
breakfast was good, staff were great, and the rooms were clean
were not told beforehand that the restaurant and bar would be shut, despite the hotel knowing that before we arrived. Rooms are noisy due to the road. Mattresses have seen better days.
Not a god experience.
Starting by the fact that they didn’t have the main services as a shower, internet connection, or even electric power on the first night, the second one they made some changes but we didn’t have WiFi connection and the installations were really poor.
Wasn't sure what to expect. I came for the Spirit of Speyside whisky festival as a late booking. Straight from checking in, Rob let me in early and made my stay comfortable and hassle free. He took y vegeteruan options in consideration in preparing breakfast. The bus stop is literally across the street. I would definitely stay here again
Property was off main street and lots of big trucks passing by all the time. My room was not facing the street so it was just rumbles. Property hosts were very friendly but room condition was not the best. Missing toilet paper roll holder. Shower is small and has dirty grout. Restaurant downstairs not open.
Location was good for where I needed to be and the staff were friendly
Shared bathroom, restaurant and bar was closed, not really any parking except on the street but time limited.
