We really enjoyed the room !
The atmosphere was amazing
Very good
Nothing
We stayed in one of the cottages, and it was quiet, comfy, and close to lots of things. Sarah was wonderful! The grounds were lovely, and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening. Great suggestions for dinner, too.
Gorgeous and quiet!
Loved everything!
Sara was so helpful when I visited with my daughter. I would love to return. The home is beautiful and the outside area is enjoyable. Location is great. We walked downtown one day and Ubered the other days.
Lots of shopping and breweries.
Place was nice
Can hear everything
I loved everything about it...great location just minutes from downtown. Really cute charming b-n-b. If you're looking for something intimate...this is your place!!
Lovely stay. We had the top floor suite with adjoining rooms, . Folks - both guests and staff - couldn’t have been nicer. Ate a delicious meal walking distance right around the corner at Jetti Rae’s seafood. Explored Asheville. Will definitely be back!
FYI The second bed (closer to window) in twin room needs a mattress upgrade. I switched slept in the other one which was fine.
The ambience and staff are excellent
The bed mattress was like a rock and possibly the least comfortable bed we've slept in in a long time. The continental breakfast was very basic, not a wide variety of options.
This is a beautiful old house with creaky floors and dark stained woodwork - things I love in bed and breakfast accommodations! The continental breakfast was good. We had tickets for Biltmore, which was a short drive. I was here for only 1 night- wish I could have stayed longer.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite upstairs, which had a tight staircase but we had very little luggage so not a problem for us but something to think about if you are staying longer or have large and heavy suitcases. And there is not a door shutting off the suite access from the level below but we did not mind that. (Of course the bedrooms and bathroom have doors).
This is a lovely old Victorian home with original windows, doors and stairways. It’s beautifully maintained and restored.
A very small staff tried valiantly to provide services for the guests but it was frequently difficult to locate someone to assist or answer questions. My main problem with this stay was the breakfast! For me Bed n Breakfast includes a lovely hot breakfast with several if not ample choices. We were presented with a cold buffet- one choice of cold cereal, hard boiled eggs and toast or muffin. A basket with bananas rounded out the offering. At the very least a chafing dish of scrambled eggs should have been offered. I frequently stay at B n B establishments and have never been this disappointed with breakfast.
Beautiful house that retains all original features. The gardens are large and beautiful with lots of wildlife.
There is not much choice for breakfast. What is available is nice but there could be more choice.
