We has a very pleasant, quiet stay. The quaint cabins are directly on a secluded beach very far north in Nicaragua, not far from Chinandega. They have ac and the beds are comfortable. The owner, Stacy, is friendly and informative and a great storyteller. The staff is wonderful. Lupe was our cook and server and she prepared excellent meals. The undeveloped beach to the north stretches on forever past mangrove forests and lava cliff formations. We did not venture south to Mechapa, although it seems like a pretty active fishing village. RBR is a good place to go and get away from it all.

Das gesamte Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend.Stacy und Mike haben ein richtiges Juwel an der Pazifikküste.Mikes Strandfahrt mit dem Pick up Truck war ein echtes Erlebnis und man konnte sich die Dimensionen der Größe des Strandes selbst ansehen.Toller Aufenthalt und jedem wärmstens zu empfehlen.
The breakfast (stayed 3 days) was always great and plentiful, always fruit, eggs, rice and beans, toast, and of course coffee.
Went sight seeing, drove miles and miles on the beach, hiked up the volcano, met some new friends.
Stacy and Mike (the owners) and the people that work for them make you feel right at home, they are great people.
P S: went jet skiing while I was there also. fun
Getting there from Managua takes a good bit of time, but once you get there all is good.
The proprietors and staff were amazing and the food was excellent. The property is located on a beautiful, secluded beach. The property has some years on it, but the bungalows are charming and have great character.
Super friendly owners helped us out everywhere they could. Very far off location but amazing for just hanging out. Also beautiful beach and such sweet pets around the property
It was remote…we had the beach to ourselves
The casitas were old and many gaps in wood…termites had eaten thru window frame.

We loved our stay at Redwood Beach! The place is beautiful and quiet, perfect to relax and enjoy stunning sunsets. For surfers there’s quality waves and you’ll have them all for yourself too! Stacey is an amazing host and takes great care of her guests, going over and beyond our expectations. Make sure to stick around for her delicious home cooked meals as well, the best we’ve had at any hotel in Nicaragua until now!
