Pros:

The welcome at reception was great. The hotel is spotless inside and out with unbelievable views over the bay. There was no lift to the rooms which was disappointing especially with heavy bags. The room itself was clean and tidy. There were no power points by the bed (needed for some medical equipment) so had to get an extension from the Tesco. The view from the room again was magnificent. This restaurant at the hotel is really good, the service is great and the food was excellent.

Pros:

The rooms could do with renovation - mattress had a big dent in it so not very comfortable, and no air con in rooms, so very hot. However, the staff were amazing and went out of their way to help me on more than one occasion 😊

Stay itself was very pleasant.
Payment/“pre-authorisation”/charging to room at Reception was totally confusing and shambolic. Ended up with no idea what I actually paid and I will be watching my bank accounts carefully.
Property could do with a passenger or even dumb-waiter lift as lugging cases up and down shallow stairs with no handrail not very safe for older guests.

Pros:

No place to put a make-up bag. Wet towels go on top of dry. Huge tub which for older people is difficult to get in and out of. No elevator. Walk up with bags. Lovely staff and very clean but couldn't stay a second time.
