Pros:

1. Fully paid and the receptionist asked to pay again, why?

2. cockroach in the room to welcome meI run out and never come back.

3. I never actually use the room at all. I went to other lodging instead.

4. Free breakfast? Lol. I was there for less than one minute NOT one night.

Stay where the locals stay
Pros:

the staff were great. they helped me arrange a guide for the wknd who was able to take me around the island by moped and show me the sights.
the room with the huge seafront balcony was a no brainer to upgrade to.

It's valued for money.
Pros:

I used to stay in the top tiers hotel whenever I am in Balai for pleasure for the past 15 years. Then a friend introduced Hotel Super 888 which is about 500 meters away from the hotel I used to stay which costs me only about 25%. I tried and find that the hotel rate was very cheap, Hotel room is clean, their staffs are courteous and friendly and air conditioning cooling. It's valued for money and I have repeated my returned stay for 4 times already.
