Very nice hotel
I highly recommend this hotel! I was traveling with my dog, and they are truly pet-friendly, which made everything so easy and comfortable. I had two large suitcases that were hard to carry, and the front desk staff, Ms. Liu, kindly helped me bring them up to my room and even placed some of my food in the fridge. Her service was outstanding and very thoughtful.
The location is also excellent — right on a lively street with plenty of restaurants, shops, and places to grab food, so it’s super convenient. They also arranged a shuttle bus to Pudong Airport based on my flight schedule, which made my trip much smoother. Overall, the service and experience were top-notch, and I will definitely choose this hotel again the next time I come to Shanghai.
One small area for improvement: since this is a pet-friendly hotel and I had informed them in advance that I would be bringing my dog, it would have been even better if the room had been prepared with a water bowl and food bowl for the dog.
I love the hotel decor and bohemian theme. Rooms were spotless. Staff were very nice! Breakfast was amazing, and reasonably priced. The only negative is the hotel was a bit warm, especially in the community areas. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely come back again! Thank you Manli staff for making our stay comfortable.
Night staff inept. Tried to tell me only on card key was available. Room lights were motion detectors which was terrible at night. Toilet had minimal privacy with only a partial clouded glass door. Breakfast was average. Gym barely plausible. Treadmill not right. A few interesting restaurants nearby. Close to airport.
Unique resort-style hotel, with cultural books displayed in the hotel rooms and tons of books in the floor-to-ceiling bookshelf in the 3rd floor cafeteria. I stayed there for 10 days in August. AC worked well. Love the laundry room, self-serving easy laundry. Two types of fruit teas and herbal teas were served at the front desk ball day long. Dried herbs were displayed in the hall way, free to take for freshness in hot summer. Super friendly staff. They use Bots to delivery small packages and food deliveries to the room doors. When I checked out, I had them ship two packages and one suitcase. The staff took care everything. All three packages arrived at my house in Hangzhou in two days as expected. With that, I flew super light from Shanghai to Beihai. Thumbs up! Make sure download WeChat and communicate with front desk real time in WeChat!
Cave room suite nice but too dark, insufficient lighting.
Superb service and timely communication. Wonderful nail salon, food market, massage parlor etc, literally next door. Everything in the plaza where the hotel is located.

I was quite surprised when I checked in to this hotel. I didn’t expected the room to be this large. I like its comfy and bright. The property is spacious and offers a Very relaxed atmosphere. I am very pleased with my stay. I highly recommended.
Lovely hotel, near airport, with easy/free transport too/from hotel. Rooms clean and comfortable. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance.
The hotel and staff were nice.
The room was very nice, as expected, there was a motion activated light above the door though, which was very sensitive and illuminated the whole room if anyone went to the toilet. Very annoying.
Be aware that the noted 24-hour shuttle does not run 24 hours. They picked up our phones during the trip but did not show up to pick us up. And the food is not as good as many other 4-star hotels. Better to stay away from it.
Everything good
We stayed during a 28hr stopover in Shanghai - apart form being a little tricky to find (there’s signs for Moonlo hotel and Manli - the reception staff referred to the hotel as Moonlo) it was perfect. The room was nicely decorated, spacious, and very clean. Bed was super comfy. Also stocked with everything you could need! 10/10 - I wish we could have stayed a few more nights! Friendly and helpful staff that allowed us to check in early (for a small fee)
The staff was awesome. Only criticism is they let people smoke cigarettes inside despite hundreds of posted signs. Room was fun with a nice patio
Convenient for the airport, located in a small shopping centre area. Didi dropped us on road and entrance is visible from road. Quick check in. Room was big with plenty of hot water and lighting very good. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. No restaurant available for dinner but there are local options available nearby together with Pizza Hut, Burger King and Starbucks. Shuttle to airport was complimentary and worked well.
Water in the showers was too small.
However, they offered free shuttle to Disneyland and airport.
