Marino Beach Colombo

We stayed in March for 3 days during Royal Thomian Big Match and had such an amazing time in this beautiful Hotel.
It was our first time staying at the Marino Beach Hotel, eventhough we had stayed at the Hotels around every year..
When we read the Reviews, we were so impressed with them and wanted to give it a try. I am so glad we did as indeed it was very impressive.
The location was great with all the modern Amenities.
The service was superb,infact top notch quality right from the beginning to the end.
Eventhough the Girl who checked us in did not give us a Deluxe Room with good seaview as requested, Tharindhi immediately changed it and gave us another Deluxe Room with better Sea view.
She went above and beyond showcasing great Customer service.
We have stayed in number of 5 Star Hotels in SL and in other countries. Marino Beach Hotel is by far one of the best Hotels we have stayed so far.
Every Staff Member is very polite , courteous and very professional. Also everything is at your fingertip that you do not have to worry about anything.
Every Staff member is very passionate about their Job and they all praised their Group Chairman.Happy Staff and no complaints what so ever.
The Infinity Pool was one of the largest and the view was breathtaking.
The morning Breakfast buffet catered to a wide Spread including all kinds of delicious Cusines.
I was visiting My Mom at the Aged Care and wanted to order a fresh chicken broth ( Take away) .Sajith the Manager at "Tides Restaurant" was very attentive and helped me with my request. Sajith and Kavindha both stood out with great customer service skills.
On the last day we visited the Marino Beach Lounge and the service was equally great.
We did not take the Bathers as we were not going to spend much time in there.But the Life Guard " Sampath " insisted that we should try the waters as it was so lovely and warm.
Being a non Swimmer he assisted me to swim in the Sea with some Gear and he was beside me so I could relax and enjoy the waters.
Sampath indeed went above and beyond with his great service.Also he was very friendly, courteous and through with his Job.
All in all, it was such a great experience and I would highly recommend this Hotel to any Traveller.
The location, service, food ,ambience, amenities all top notch and I would like to give 5+ Star.
We will definitely come back next year with my Grand Son and the Daughter as we absolutely love this Hotel.

Fantastic property, welcoming staff and great food. Was there for 7 nights. The pool area, with its view, is fantastic. They also have a great beach club nearby, which provides a great spot to swim safely in the ocean. We enjoyed the fact that the hotel was away from the busy city core, while being close enough for easy access.

There is really nothing to fault about the Marino Hotel. It's a one stop fixes all experience.

From entering through their taxi from the airport. The luggage staff take away your luggage for you and deliver it to your room after check in. It's easy and stress free.

The check in staff were excellent providing their services and requests.

The room itself is equipped well and styled excellently. Everything is quite convenient and comfortable.The room itself came equipped with a study lounge sofa which were used and convenient for everyday use with adequate storage provided.

The mini fridge and water & snacks were all free and refilled daily, which we usually got some use out of.

The air-conditioning was wonderful and stayed on and off when commanded and kept us cool during the stay. The hotel also provided a standing fan which was much appreciated.

The suite has a MASTER switch you can just flick off which turns everything on & off which is so convenient.

There is about 4 phones throughout the apartment which allow for ease for calling staff with any help you might need.

The balcony has great views of both the city and ocean 👌 definitely a site to warrant a few photos

The breakfast is a must! There is also something exquisite there to munch on with choicing changing daily. Truly an option for everyone. Just be sure to read the signs if you are not good with spice 👀

The chefs and staff are helpful and assist with Shoeing away the crows and birds outside removing plates swiftly refilling water and offering beverages.

I was unfortunate enough to have a few crows sweep away my breakfast. The manager saw and arranged someone to refill my plate without lifting a finger. Generally not a problem if you eat inside. The sound of the waves and train were beautiful!

The lunch we only ate once. As we will still in a food coma from breakfast most days.

My favourite hotel in the world! The staff is welcoming and kind. The view is stunning. This hotel is a resort in itself, with restaurants, a pool, bars, shopping and a gym all within the building. The food is delicious. I recommend watching the sunset from the rooftop infinity pool.

Very good experience here. Best services and highly recommend to everyone.

Clean, great facilities and food options . We had a fantastic banquet on Mother’s Day, and the breakfast was terrific ! Best egg hoppers !
