All about our stay at Marino Beach Colombo was perfect. I would like to specially thank Mr. Hashan from housekeeping for the best service.
Overall, we had a very good stay. The security process at the entrance was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade at check-in, which we truly appreciated. The room itself was excellent, with a balcony offering a beautiful sea view. The in-room mini bar was also a nice touch, with soft drinks, snacks, and tea/coffee all included free of charge.
The hotel facilities were impressive as well, especially the infinity pool on the rooftop with lounge beds, offering stunning coastal views and great photo opportunities. The hotel is also conveniently located right across from the famous coastal train line, making it easy to experience this iconic attraction. In addition, the hotel offers a free half-day Colombo city tour with a guide and included entrance fees, which was a very valuable bonus.

Great location on the ocean..10 minute tuk-tuk ride to all the major landmarks and within walking distance to some cool courtyard cafes - Barefoot and Paradise Road Gallery. We stayed in a sea facing room with balcony..great sunset views. Room was spacious and bright. Check in was quick and reception staff were friendly, efficient and very courteous. Buffet breakfast was amazing..such a great choice and variety of international foods. Roof top infinity pool and garden area was a perfect place to chill and relax...great cocktails and bar food for the perfect sundowners.
A bit disappointing to see plastic water bottles used in a 5-star hotel in Sri Lanka, as I would expect more sustainable practices from a hotel of this standard.
Our stay at Marino Beach Colombo was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the team showed a very high level of professionalism and hospitality.
We reached the hotel early, before our room was ready, and they kindly provided us with a temporary room so we could rest and refresh after our trip. This small detail made a big difference for our family.
The hotel also offers thoughtful services such as the free city tour, the beach shuttle bus, and the amazing swimming pool on the 10th floor with a beautiful view. Everything was well organized and made our stay very comfortable.
What impressed us the most was the staff. Everywhere in the hotel, the team was smiling, helpful, and always looking for a way to assist. You really feel that they care about the guest experience.

It was nice place to stay the room was so quiet and safe the rooftop is the best staff was very friendly and the room is smell good and clean.
We used Marino Beach Hotel mainly for the room and facilities, without trying the breakfast or lunch. The room was very clean, the staff were always smiling and welcoming, and they responded very quickly to every request.
We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and jacuzzi, which were really beautiful. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
Honestly, I cannot think of anything significant that I did not like. Every hotel has small imperfections, but nothing stood out during our stay. Overall, everything was very good, and we were genuinely happy with our experience.
