they turned us around saying that the hotel was overbooked. this shouldn't have happened since we were able to book online. they specified they texted us late at night, prior to our check in, but it was already too late to check the message (and it's not like we check booking.com messages every hour). they pretended to try to help us find another accommodation, but they were just trying to get rid of us because the option they gave us was also overbooked and extremely far away..they just wanted us out of their hotel. terrible. they should have a better system set in place so overbookings do not happen.
Scam, they will allow you to book through the app when they have no rooms available and only tell you when you arrive.
No breakfast was provided but the location okay as it’s near stores and some restaurants.
I loved everything about it.
There's nothing much to like in this place, maybe the internet was stable and fast enough. Close proximity to the beach, around 5-7 mins on foot.
The hotel is located in the unpleasant alley with
garbage on the road and rats running from one corner to another one at night. Cleanliness of the room and the hotel is complete disaster, it was the dirtiest floor with lots of sand pieces (probably brought by the previous guests from the beach), dirt hair I've ever had in any Vietnamese hotel. The room and especially the bathroom had cockroaches coming out at night. In general the food including the walls, he furniture is pretty old and run-down, lots of furniture were covered with dust. There was some garbage under the bed and by the bedside. The fan covered with rust. The window to the street couldn't be opened, it was sealed, the other window could be opened buy leading to some public lodging area, very dirty, stuffed with old broken furniture, and with absolutely disgusting smell coming from the public fridge, I discovered it was filled with rotten food full of maggots and flies, the awful smell came to my room when I decided to open the only possible window in my room to get some fresh air. It proves that they don't bother to clean properly neither the rooms nor the public areas like the lodge on the top floor. Apart from this disasters there was an issue with the other guests, one night around midnight somebody unexpectedly opened my room with his magnet key card, so it looks like magnet key cards match any door look of any room, so anyone can open any room in the hotel, that's a serious safety issue, when you're out at the beach someone can easily open your door and take your valuable . Moreover the same guest who opened my room, checked in in the other room on the same floor with a company of 3 more people and right after midnight they started playing music at maximum volume possible on their speaker having some party taking light drugs(lately I spotted "funky gas" in their room which is forbidden thing in Vietnam) and screaming.
Good location, it’s clean.
Stay for the cat, hella chill.
Beds were good
It's far from the city.
Cute staff and good location
Was dirty under the bed and no small lights
The hotel is on a relatively quiet alleyway, off the main roads, so quieter than many small hotels in the area. Additionally it is a short walk to the beach. I was unimpressed overall, however, for the price and for a single night stay, it was sufficient.
There is no staff available late at night if you have a problem or a question about your room (for example, I did not know how to turn on the air conditioner, and had to do without during my first (only) night there). There were supplies and carts blocking the stairways, so you had to take the slow elevator instead. Not only was this irritating, but also could create a dangerous situation in the unlikely event of an emergency. NOTE: the fine print states they only accept cash. Unfortunately I did not see this, and since my flight came in so late, I had not been able to visit the ATM. There is no cash machine close to the hotel, so I had to take a Grab bike to a cash machine; fortunately, they let me wait to do this until the next morning.
