All was very good
The room was spacious and well designed. The bed was large and comfortable, with sensible pillows. The air conditioning was quiet and unintrusive. The room was dark at night with only a few dim LEDs in various places - excellent.
The buffet breakfast was passable but uninspiring. The coffee was terrible (instant?)
The 'Oxen' restaurant dinner was poor: In particular, the veggie korma tasted more like pea soup than anything Indian.

The restaurant was very expensive for the meal quality & quantity. The service was fantastic. For £8 of nachos I expected a lot more of them & a £18 burger could at least have some salad served with it.

The bed was so comfy. Air Con was great and smelled nice and clean.

Hotel was bright clean and bedroom was very spacious with a lovely bathroom & shower. Facilities such as tea & coffee were provided and toiletries also. Reception staff were lovely - very helpful n friendly
Given the proximity to a busy road the hotel itself was really peaceful
Very disappointed with hotel breakfast! Dining area felt quite cramped. Layout of food had no logic to it at all. If you want semi skimmed milk with your cereal you have to go around the counters to the opposite side entirely - why not keep both together?? The yoghurt was found right next to the hot food - why? While melon slices were lovely, a wider fruit section would have been better. I'm afraid the look of bacon & sausages actually put me off and I couldn't eat them!
The whole experience for breakfast was chaotic which was so disappointing given the lovely hotel
The room was roomy and tidy. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Room and bathroom were a good size.
Breakfast was lacking for a 4 star. Had to wait and ask for the basics e.g. cups, condiments, no refills for some items.
The fire alarm went off at 5am by mistake.
