brilliant
nothing
An excellent location with great EV charging.
Have stayed here several times over the years but sadly unlikely to do so again. The room was looking a little tired, particularly the bathroom (no plug in hand basin, taps needing replacement washers, shower cubicle tired, poor toilet flush, toilet roll holder hanging loosely). Also the locks to the room door and bathroom door need attention. The breakfast pricing is non-sensical - how can a large breakfast be the same price as a small one or the same as a bowl of granola and yoghurt?! Food quality is good, but pricing felt unfair. What a shame.
Very clean and well presented on arrival.
Bed comfortable and good shower.
Nothing.
L'endroit formidable
Le temps d'attente un peu long du breakfast
The property was really well maintained, with lots of parking, and great food if you wanted to eat there. The bedrooms are not too close to the main bar area so you don’t hear any noise. My room was very pretty with a high beamed ceiling and everything you need in it. I didn’t have much interaction with the staff but any that I did meet were very helpful and friendly.
The whole pub and accommodation area was absolutely lovely, room was comfy and tidy the balcony area was perfect whilst it was hot, sunny weather as well.
We had food from the main menu on the Friday evening - absolutely delicious! We also had breakfast on the Saturday morning, again really lovely food! We didn't stay for Sunday lunch- but that also looked like it would have been incredible, so we will absolutely be back at some point!
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was fantastic!
Food and service great. Location good.
Very cottagy and they have sky sports
Food was pub grub and the kitchen finished early
Excellent location for our needs.
Room fine, had all we needed.
Lots of channels on tv.
Breakfast is superb, lots of choice
Quite difficult to get room dark. The green light on the ceiling detector is annoying
Lovely place , staff very friendly and kind .
Great vegetarian breakfast!!
Will stay again .
Room and food were ok, staff were friendly and helpful
Room was very warm, even with heating off, Room and bathroom are basic and a bit dated.
The location is perfect but expenisve and the only option in the area. We have stayed at the Scythes now ,on and off, for over eight years and it has become more and more expesive, the only improvement has been the meal options. The staff are very helpful.
No fridge in the rooms. Loud music at meal time. Traffic noise in the morning.
