Very clean. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
Nothing
All the staff were so friendly and we were given complimentary glasses of prosecco when getting ready for our sons wedding.
Our room was a little bit tired and in need of a deeper clean.
N/A
No soap door hadle fell off
Breakfast was fine
Location was good
A slight negative was that cooking odours could be detected in the corridor outside our room
Friendly staff and reception, cosy room, nice decor, lovely toiletries in the bathroom, great English breakfast, we liked our balcony too.
There was a bit of traffic noise in the location by the road, which was quite busy. Our room and bed were quite small, but I think it’s possible to book a larger room
Very polite, it is an old infrastructure, no AC and elevator. However if you like city"s history, this is the place, wonderful !
Nice location and free car park
After midnight, I had difficulty finding the correct entrance to the building. I had to walk around to the back of the building, where the area was dark and there were no clear signs or directions showing where to enter.
Beforehand, a staff member informed me that I should use the entrance at the back of the building, but the instructions were not detailed enough. I was not informed that I needed to use the fire exit route as the entrance after midnight.
When I returned from the pub after midnight, I had to search around the building to find the way in. There were no clear signs or directions displayed to guide guests, which made it confusing and inconvenient, especially during nighttime when visibility was poor.
I would recommend that the hotel provide clearer signage and more detailed instructions for guests arriving after midnight to ensure safety and avoid confusion.
Old fan: loud noise during the night
Gorgeous room with a balcony, clean and comfortable
Noise from staff in early hours outside after a lock in, singing and chatting in car park while waiting for taxis
The layout and beautifully decorated. Very welcoming
The staff, the food and the comfort of the room
Asked my room to be serviced on the second morning and i didn't get any extra milk and the cups were not washed.
There was a sharp edge in the bathroom which caused an injury
Room was clean and tidy
Breakfast service was very slow and very poor when it arrived, cold and over cooked. Had to send 1 back.
Main meals were lovely
Breakfast very disappointing, whatever you had off the menu was the same price. The room very small, we were kept awake by music coming from the kitchen.
We received our meal on the Sunday but had to ask for cutlery.
Convenient for where we needed to be
Very warm welcome
Great food
Lovely room
Very clean good location
